My friend and I made our first visit to this drive in today. It had been highly recommended. I would NOT reccomend this place to anyone. We arrived at 2:05 p.m. and parked directly in front of the door. It was not crowded. Servers were waiting on everyone all around us for about 20 minutes. I finally got out of the car and asked one of them how were we supposed to order. She asked where we were, I pointed out the car and she said she'd send someone out. We waited and waited. I finally got out again, stopped someone else and asked if we could get a server. During all of this time several vehicles came in and out all around us. We finally saw a server and placed our order. She brought drinks soon afterward. And we waited. People around us placing orders, getting their food, eating and leaving. FINALLY...our burgers arrived. I looked at the ticket and almost choked, over $14! I ordered the small cheeseburger without lettuce, I received the large burger with lettuce. As I was tired and hungry I decided to just eat it. We took our food to one of the tables on the side as we told the server we would. I ate about a quarter of mine and fed the rest to five cats who gathered at our table when we sat down. We kept waiting for the server to come and take payment. I finally took both checks and cards to the employee door, opened it and ask our server to please ring us up. She still took her time getting back to us at the vehicle. We both tipped her but we shouldn't have. We will...
Read moreI tend to come here when my work week is less busy. Everyone I encounter has given great customer service. Never had a time I can recall when I had a lackluster experience until now. What was missing seemed to have been any form of seasoning and the fries tasted old. I do understand that some people have dietary restrictions, I do not. I did take time to call the restaurant. While I explained that I was not highly satisfied with my order, Becky and the manager did apologize and let me know that they would pass the feedback on to the owners. The manager also explained that aside from the order being customized to what I asked, it indeed is supposed to look this way (something like what you’d get on a Philly cheesesteak sandwich). My initial thought was that pot roast has gravy with it. This can be rather misleading to customers based off of how it is described on the menu vs what you’re told by a waiter vs what you get, hence why I’m writing my review. Don’t always lay eyes on food, because I generally trust it’s made right the first time and I can enjoy it at home. I ordered the Pot Roast Sandwich (minus the bread), but over French fires...
Read moreJust took my kids there as a last place to eat in PC before I leave the country. Bad idea! Avoid the older lady waitress, she has ZERO customer service skills and seems to expect you know what you want without a menu. It was like she thought you should feel privileged she came to the car. She makes it a point not to write anything down so she repeats it to you 4 times. Then the food, well don't even think about the "Club sandwich" with one slice of Turkey and some "Cheapo" American Cheese. The onion rings were homemade and quite good though. The burger was dressed like 5-guys and not quite the expectation of their billboard). The drinks, well I felt like I was at the teenage Roller rink, it had two shots of Mr. Pibb and a full cup of ice. $27 for three meals. I was very hopeful to take my kids to an old-timey favorite ,but alas, this place has a long way to go to appeal to the next generation. I believe the owner really wants to do something great, but I do not think people would mind paying a little more for a real experience. I don't think my son will ever order another club again. As we left he said, dad that was...
