The company could do better by having designated waffle irons especially for those that want pecans in there better! It doesn't make sense for all the other companies out there who are trying to make an effort into catering to those who have food allergies oh, and this one does not from what I hear from employees around the metro area! Because not everyone in your restaurants clean their waffle irons with the spray that they have. Cuz I had one girl to tell me oh, well we clean hours I can't speak for someone else at another location! That's really sad so someone can have a pecan allergy or just a nut and seafood allergy and you don't clean off your equipment... That should be something put into place that the employees are required to do! Regardless of what they may think it when it comes down to it, it all comes down to the customer and whose money y'all were trying to get! I'm just being real about it you can hate my comment or not. But I know this this company needs to make a change if they want people to still continue to buy their five star or just a plain waffle! And also another issue is that if you are handling an allergen food, such as fish or nuts or whatever and you're touching it with your gloves and you go and touch something else or toppings for salad with those same gloves it should be required under the employee guidelines that you should change out your gloves after touching those items before going back into the containers or something else that doesn't have those allergens in it! I know people try to cut cost, but would you rather to be sued or 2 not get sued and to have someone who's going to be satisfied with their meal question mark you be the judge of that one. You have to put yourself in that customers shoes instead of always thinking about, not saying that it's wrong to not think about it, but you got to think about things like this in this day and time. So, until there's a change I won't be getting any more waffles from your restaurant or any restaurant under your chain. And also people let your servers know that you have allergies and if they can accommodate it by all means. You're welcome...
Read moreBy far the WORST waffle house i’ve ever been to. my boyfriend, best friend, her boyfriend and myself met at this particular waffle house after going out. Instantly when we came through the door the cook addressed my boyfriend (whom is paralyzed from the waste down) and turned around and made the comment “how does he please a girl like her”. then as we sat down the server walked in front of his wheelchair to take the order as if my boyfriend wasn’t apart of our party. not allowing that to bother us because we choose not to see his handicap as a low blow or even a cry for sympathy. we decided to continue our visit and order. everyone ordered. about 30 minutes later (putting us at 5:0am) we get our food. the server slams my bowl down with a bowl full of burnt hash browns and cheese (it’s suppose to be a chicken melt bowl with onions) DOESNT HAVE ONE PEICE OF CHICKEN!!!!!!!!! I simply state “no worries ma’am, i’m not going to eat that, and i’m good” as frustrated as i was i chose not to get an attitude and i know i can get one fairly quick. she asks me after i made my statement if i wanted something else and i said no. she got an attitude instantly and walked behind the counter and went to the cook and stated “he’s obviously to handicap to please her needs” APPALLED I COULDNT REMAIN IN THE RESTAURANT! i’ve never in my years of living been treated so poorly in a place of business! i wouldn’t come to this waffle house ever again if it was the last one standing and i eat waffle house almost 3 times a weeek!!!!!!!!! my boyfriend is so beyond hurt by the things he heard about himself in this establishment he says he won’t eat out for a while! Read moreThis is my favorite Waffle House! I pretty much order the same thing every time for myself and my aging dad. I go visit him about every 2 weeks and pass alteast 3-4 other WF on the way, but this one always cooks our food to perfection so I always pick it up from here before heading his way. My only complaint...they never answer the 🤬 phone!!😡😡😡 About a week ago I decided to stop on my way home from work. Called and called, no answer! Went and there was only one lady working the whole store, ok made sense why she wasn't taking phone orders. And despite being the only one working, she was just as pleasant and friendly as could be when she took my order, and then cooked it up perfectly! Woke up today with some WF hashbrowns on my mind. Called about 11am- no answer! Tried again around 2PM- no answer! Just tried again 7PM- still no bleeping answer! And what gets me is, I can drive over there and it won't even be busy! What gives WF?
