Loyal scooters customer here, so it pains me not to give 5 stars. But this location was one of my favorites and now I don’t plan on returning. The service has really gone downhill.
The last couple of times I’ve gone there they have messed up my drink orders in the drive thru, so I have to park and go inside to have them re-made. Not sure if it’s just new employees, lack of training, perhaps they think they’ve memorized recipes but they really haven’t..not sure. But what it seems like anytime I’ve been there recently is that the employees are young, distracted and unmotivated. The lack of professionalism is apparent. No one ever apologizes for the inconvenience they’ve caused. I’ve seen them messing around on their phones and laughing while making drinks.
This last visit, I was waiting next to 2 other customers who also had messed up drinks. The communication from employees was awful. No one acknowledged any of us until we demanded it. Then the employees began blaming each other, none taking responsibility for the errors. And even then they were treating us like WE were the problem. Not that they just messed up our $7 coffees. They should be careful too, because some people have sensitivities and certain diets, so messing up drink customizations can be pretty bad for some people. Just an overall mess in there, and I hope...
Read moreI'm a big fan of Scooters. I've never had a bad experience, until now.
I've been to this store before using drive-through but I've never been inside. This time, I wanted to treat my 3-year old to a smoothie so we went inside.
After being ignored for a few minutes (they were very busy, but I was the only inside customer) a barista took my order. I paid with my old, worn out card (it had 93 cents left) and a new card that I recently charged to replace it.
Well, it didn't work. Not their fault, I got it from another store. What irritated me was that I waited 15 minutes for the shift leader (manager/whatever) to get around to fixing it for me. Which she didn't. We had to leave because my kiddo was going to be late for school. I didn't have time to get my 93 cents back, or get my drinks.
There was a happy ending. I went back to the store where I bought it (25th and Cornhusker) and they fixed it in under 30 seconds. (I kid you not.) If it weren't for them, I would never go back...
Read moreHave stopped there 6 days a week usually in am but also at night. Today I bought my usual order and also a 50.00 gift card , when I pulled up to pay I gave her a 50 for the card and 20 for the drink I was asked if I had anything smaller which I told her no and she said she can't take the 50 dollar bill, I'd understand if I had a 8 dollar order and needed change but literally the 50 was theirs for the gift card, no change needed and the 20 was for my drink. not everyone likes using cards and still pay for stuff in cash. to be told they wouldn't provide me with a paid service if I use cash is crazy.again no change was needed the 50 was their's. i don't get it. easily have used this location for over 8yrs. will use another location from here on out. They will survive...
