The new restaurant here has knocked it out of the ballpark! So beautiful! Great service! The food is incredible!
We got the carnitas plate and the chicken mole. The carnitas were so juicy and tender. The mole is rich and more chocolatey than many other restaurants. The reason this is better, we think, is because this chicken is shredded which is the first time we have had it prepared this way... And it works! ❤️
Sometimes the meat can be great but the sides are a secondary thought. Not here! We noticed the beans are slightly mashed and a careful chef has added just a bit of bacon to really kick them up to another level in texture and richness. The rice used today was broken rice. It was akin to couscous in texture but all the perfect spices to create a really elevated richness. And the hand-made tortillas! Just perfect!
Add a margarita or two (very reasonably priced) and this was a perfect meal. Quite a surprise as they have only been open 2 months. Keep up the great job ... I see it becoming quite popular if this...
Read moreSo, we saw this place on TikTok and wanted to try it. The vibe just didn't feel right. There was only 1 waiter with 5 tables spread across the whole restaurant. So he was all over the place. It even took them a while to refill my drink. The food was so so. I say that because the presentation was nice. However, i had asked the waiter no avocado on my ceviche, and they still brought it to me with avocado. After waiting for our food for 20 mins (mind you, only 5 tables), we had to wait again for them to fix my plate. Then, it was so spicy. The ceviche already came with a spicy sauce on it. That wasn't mentioned in the menu or by the waiter. I couldn't finish half of it. Would I come again? Honestly...yes. I would like to give this place a 2nd try, perhaps try something else. Read moreFood was no bueno…they did good on the basic stuff like the oyster shooters, salsas and guacamole but they need to hire a better chef, ordered the seafood molcajete which on the menu it states that it comes with a lobster tail, well it did not, and had a lot of overcooked fish and smooshy uncleaned/not deveined shrimp, when I pointed out the missing lobster tail the manager apologized and was quick to correct the issue unfortunately I was given an undercooked tail and the meat was still transparent, again I pointed it out so they can fix this issue for future guests, improper handling of shellfish is nothing to dismiss.
