I live in paramount and quite often eat at Giyos. I have promoted ithis business by telling others about how good their food is. However I had a bad experience today with a server named Ashley. I am giving this business a one-star because when you run a business you always have to make the customers happy. Today my son dropped his drink and when I asked the woman I believe her name is Ashley for another drink she told me I gave it to you right so pretty much it wasn't her problem. My son had nothing to drink and I felt as though she could have gave me a $2 drink. I left and I called giyos and I told Ashley I felt as though she could have compensated me with another drink and told her I will never give them my business again. Ashley's response was that's good. (She don't care) I asked her is this how you treat your customers?I Itold her that she was rude. I asked to speak to the manager and she hung up in my face. I could have been a good blogger a famous writer. TERRIBLE! I will find another Mexican spot...
Read moreHorrible customer service! For instance I ordered 5 items and requested for 4 salsas since the cashier only gave me two. I asked multiple times for 4 because I had a big order and she told me to get down and get it. Then she asked to see my bag if I want salsa. Very disappointing place. There are better taco places such as the taco place down the street called TACOS AL VAPOR they have VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! *Also the TACOS Giyos cooks grab the meet with there hands and that's unsanitary. Last time I saw one of the cooks come out of the restroom and serve the food to the people. Very disgusting disappointing place.
P.S. If the manager is reading this stop being stingy with the salsa because of that you lost a customer and...
Read moreDecent quality tacos. I want to say this place used to be top-notch with long lines waiting for the food. The quality may have gone down a notch but not by much. For $9.95 you get four (4) tacos and a drink (no refills). Still decent with unlimited salsas and jalapenos from their self-serve bar. Not terrible but not excellent. If you stop by, it's better if you get combo #1 which comes with the four tacos and the drink, if you go a la carte, the price of the tacos varies by the type of meat you order.
I wouldn't be too harsh on them as inflation has forced every business to get creative in the way they deliver services. For $10, combo #1 is still a decent meal that will carry you on until your next meal. The customer service is...
