HOLDAAK Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Paramount

Another spicy chicken sandwiches review, this time in paramount at Holdaak fried chicken. I went with the Holdaak spicy chicken sandwich and elote slaw. The chicken was juicy inside and crispy outside the spiciness was ok but not at all spicy for me. The slaw added on this sandwhich is called daikonslaw is different than any I have tasted but paired ok with the chicken. I could not taste the comeback sauce at all with all the other flavors going on. Bread was regular white bread, which just dilutes some of the flavors. Elote slaw is corn with some Daikons slaw and topped with crushed Takis chips. Ok, elote is good, but the takis on top kill the taste, and the daikon slaw is way too sweet. It goes from one extreme of Takis being excessively tangy to super sweet of the slaw. One tip if you are coming to order at the restaurant, know what you are getting before you order because there is only one self ordering display that can get backed up. All in all, bomb. I ordered through Uber eats but when it arrived it was still hot and fresh. The chicken is a pretty generous size and its breading is very crispy. It was spicy but very mild (I got the spicy chicken with daikon slaw) . I’ve never tried this slaw before but I really enjoyed it, it added very good texture to the crispy-ness of the chicken patty. The bread was perfect and soft. Overall one of my new favorite sandwiches. The fries were good but definitely not the star of the show. The sauce was very savory but also sweet. I recently tried HOLDAAK Fried Chicken for the first time and I was really impressed. The chicken was perfectly fried, with a crispy exterior and a juicy interior. I ordered the Seoul Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which was really flavorful and not too spicy. The sandwich also came with a side of crinkle-cut fries, which were also delicious.

The service at HOLDAAK was also very friendly and efficient. My order was ready in a few minutes and the staff was happy to answer any questions I had. Overall, I had a great experience at HOLDAAK and I would definitely recommend...
