Chinese Gourmet — Restaurant in Paramount

COUNT YOUR CHANGE BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!!!! My family and I had been going there for over 10 years and I will never go back. I was there mid January, 2019, paid for my food with a $20.00 dollar bill, was given back $2.00 change (should have received $12.00). Of course, being a long time loyal customer, I made the mistake of not checking my change. Got to my car, realized what had happened. But of course the female cashier denied taking my $20.00 and refused to open the cash register to confirm. I was told to come back the next day when the owner would be there. As I was walking out, the owner was walking in. I proceeded to explain what had occurred, however, he and the female began speaking in their native language and I was told to return the next day. As they would have to check the camera first. The owner refused to take down my number to call me once that was done. I was appalled! I could not believe what had just occurred. I live in Bellflower and there is another Chinese Gourment in Signal Hill. I think they sold it but I was going to Signal Hill to get my Shrimp Fried rice because I don't eat other meat. I was driving exploring because Bellflower options for Chinese food are limits to me. I came from Gardena were I was able to find plenty of Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai food. I love the food here, have been going since I was a kid. Just hate it when I get the older tall man. He adds SO MUCH RICE. And he obvioulsy does it so that it spills over to where the sides go. So he grabs a couple BIG scoops and puts it in the middle of the tray where the dividers are. If he wants to give me a little bit of side portion, fine.
