Oishi Teriyaki & Sushi — Restaurant in Paramount

Good price for a meal but with plain or barely any flavor on the food. Came here with the family craving sushi and teriyaki, was impressed with the menu and pricing. Ordered cali tempura roll, teriyaki chicken plate, shrimp with chicken chow mein, miso ramen, and a spicy miso ramen. Most and only liked was the cali tempura roll. You can actually taste and distinguish the ingredients from one another. Chicken and shrimp chow mein was plain tasting no excitable flavor. Noodles had pale monotone flavor. Veggies were steamed, but again, there was no seasoning or flavor. Chicken teriyak was boring, and nothing gave my palate any excitement. Teriyaki sauce was watered down, wasn't a bit sweet, just gave the chicken a semi glazed look. Everything had a steamed rice taste, very monotone. Miso ramen soups were sad, and neither had any distinct flavor. The spicy one was not spicy at all, added Sriracha and chili oil, and barely any spice. It's true, you pay for what you get. Great food however, bad customer service. Make sure you guys double check your orders!. Don't wait until your at home or sitting down to eat . I had a bad experience where I asked for simple order and they totally gave me different orders. Besides that, after complaining to the cashier about our wrong orders given, he stated that" it was our mistake". So FYI they will not accept that they make order mistakes, and they don't even care if they did because they don't acknowledge theirs mistakes. No apologies. So please take pictures of your orders, check them before leaving and if you do find a discrepancy in your order let them know right there and then upfront show it to them. Because the person who is preparing the orders doesn't think they make mistakes. We all make mistakes, so own up to them and apologize especially to customers who help you keep your business...

I got it for delivery. Everything was packed with EXTREME care, and was the perfect temperature. However the food is meh...the boba is soggy(what do you expect from a non-boba shop tho?) I got the teriyaki chicken, beef, and shrimp and the teriyaki isn't sweet enough for my liking the consistency of it is good tho. The actual meat is poor...the chicken is rubbery I couldn't even get the plastic fork into it and it's really fatty, the beef I couldn't even tell it was beef it was really jiggly, and the shrimp doesn't taste clean if that makes sense?? I also got the tempura california roll which was the only tasty thing. Everything just seems to be made with either poor quality stuff or it's old.

I still encourage you to give it a try!
