Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Paramount

Food was good but sadly the service was horrible. Wasn’t the first time at this location but decided to go back because I get it I work in customer service it’s not always perfect. This time though it was the last straw. When my husband tried picking up his online order the lady wanted to see proof that he was who he said he was. The app with its new update only showed the food order on receipt not his name and regardless of him showing her his order she waved him off and said Next time he needed to have his name on the receipt order? Which no one has ever asked for that before on the online receipt. Then when we get our salad orders (both ordered grilled chicken salads) and right away I noticed mine had cold chicken. I quickly asked them why that was and they kept assisting I ordered the julen chicken (not sure the name) but I didn’t see it anywhere on the app or receipt saying I did. And I asked them to show me where it said it and instead of the lady helping me she showed me the register saying it was right there (I saw the three options for the chicken) but that didn’t prove anything. She kept assisting it was why I was charged the extra dollar but I had gotten a combo with egg rolls and the charge was for that. In the end I decided not to push it because clearly they cared more about being right instead of helping out the customer. Like I mentioned before I work in customer service and I would’ve preferred someone to MAYBE help me change my order instead of trying to be right and blowing me off. Especially since the receipt or even the menu online (I checked before asking) never once gave the option for the cold chicken. Maybe I am wrong who knows but the way it was handled was very...

Extreamly rude and hell customer service, and swindling theif now working at this location I usually eat my tacos with ranch and get a ranch for each 2 set and there's never any issues at every single location I've ever gone to, except for this location. I asked for my usual tacos and at the window I asked for ranch included she gave me one and immediately shut the window I kindly asked her if I may have another one she proceeded to tell me only one is free (this is new) and each packet is 25 cents so I figure okay I'll have two and hand her a dollar, she proceeded to slap the 50 cents with one ranch and slammed the window, I waited for her to open the window again because I wasn't going to leave without getting the ranch I payed for (times are rough and tacos are a treat). She proceeds to argue with me over the fact that she already gave me two, and I come back with you're now charging me for the one that was supposed to be free?

Anyway this was such an unnecessary rude experience, needless to say after 12 years of living close to this area and coming to this Jack in the box out of convince I don't trust this location after the cashier trying to swindle me like that and you shouldn't either if you like condiments...

Had some issues with this place when using the mobile app. The app says it's open when it's not, and I even had one experience where it took my money, but the restaurant was closed during hours the app said it was open, so could not get my food OR a refund.

I tried resolving the issue using the online customer service form and got no response, then went to the store after waiting for over a week to see if the online submission would work. When I went to the store because trying to resolve things online didn't work, I kust got a rude response and the runaround from the staff inside the store.

I was NOT happy. Not with Jack in the Box, not with the app, and not with this store. When I tried the same thing at McDonalds in the past, I got a refund IMMEDIATELY, with only a few questions asked. The manager or assistant manager came over and resolved it quick.

It's bad enough that Jack in the Box's food is usually mediocre, but their customer service and mobile app also suck. Customers might have more luck ordering in person, but that would mean not getting special mobile-only offers and rewards points. Don't recommend this location or Jack in the Box in...
