How are they in business? The server was so rude and impatient even after telling her it was our first time. She seemed annoyed when asking what she recommended and everything we were ordering they had ran out. They did not have any beverages even when stated in the menu. We had asked for the basic Coke, and they had RAN OUT. We went on a Sunday at 3 pm, and they ran out of Coke, Fanta, etc??? We ordered ceviche and they did not bring Tostadas nor saltiness crackers. We had to use the chips from the salsa they provided. The salsa with chips was straight up lemon juice, perhaps even the aguachile sauce. We also order a shrimp plate they did not provide tortillas. When we asked the server, she just told us "oh you want some"? Lastly, I ordered a taco de pesado they can not mess that up, right? WRONG it was just a breaded fish fillet, cold Tortilla and shredded lettuce, no cabbage, onion,ls, yellow chillies, sauce nor cream mayo nothing!!! They only had tapatio as there spicy sauce. Me and my family have been going to eat Mariscos El Chuy since I was a kid. Recently dined in at this new location and received the same great quality service and food as I have in their restaurants in Hawthorne. If you want to support a family owned business and love seafood or sushi this is the place to come and eat. Nothing beats a tasty michelada paired with a ceviche on a hot sunny day. Definitely recommend trying their ceviche rojo mixto and their shrimp tacos. If you love sushi they have a variety of rolls to choose from as well. I was really excited to try this restaurant because it looked amazing on social media, but unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to the hype. The presentation was nice, but the service left a lot to be desired. What I found especially unusual was that there were no prices listed on the menu, which made it difficult to know what to expect.
