Mariscos Los Dorados — Restaurant in Paramount

I grew up in this town. I left this place in the late 80s so I didn't know where to find good places to eat around here anymore. My family referred me to this place so I checked it out. I went on a Sunday and they had a live Sinaloense band playing. It was like walking into banda club. The music was a bit loud. Everyone looked at me like I was out of place. I guess everyone knows the regulars here. No one tried to intimidate me or stare me down though. The waitresses were really nice. They had an assorted menu to choose from. I had their shrimp coctel and a couple of ceviche tostadas and a michelada. Their coctel was great. Their ceviche tostadas were also great. They serve their micheladas in a large caguama (family size if you are not familiar with the term) size Styrofoam cup with ice in it. I have never been served a michelada like this before. At first I thought, this michelada is going to suck. Beer is nasty with ice in it. Man was I in for a surprise. The michelada was the best michelada I had in my life! I am not exaggerating. I have had plenty of micheladas and this one was the best tasting one hands down. After having two of the micheladas the music wasn't so loud anymore. In fact, the music was not as loud as I would have liked it to be. I was having a blast with my family. I had dancing feet listening to the new school sinaloense banda music. I grew up listening to the old school Jalisco bandas like Banda Machos, Banda Cuisillos, Banda Pelillos and others. Good music is good music. These guys were killing it with the music.

In the end, I enjoyed the visit here. The tab for four people's meals and beers and a bucket of beer I treated a nearby table to was less than one hundred bucks. You can't beat that. I will definitely visit this place again when I am in town. I highly recommend giving this...

food was great service not good at all !! the waitress where rude and seem like they hate their job !! when my order was brought to our table it took them 15min to bring one last item a shirmp cocktail i question the waitress in a nice was if she had maybe forgot to write down my cocktail she gave me and attitude and said it coming omg i bring food to the tables as the cooks makes them !totally understandable but her rude way of speaking to me was not acceptable ..i really did wnt to give her a good tip ..as i work in a hospitality job where we also get tips so i was gonna tip her good ..too bad she ruin tht for herself ..they need to hire and trained their staff better in order to continue being...

Food was bland the shrimp way too small for the price you paid, this is more like a party restaurant when people are drunk they might think the food is good but is not and way overpriced, I ask for a glass of water but they don’t have as to make you buy a water bottle , and the water bottle is the small ones that they might buy for 25 cents and sell it to you for $2.25 such a rip off will not come...
