Tacos Giyo #2 — Restaurant in Paramount

I always passed by this place, and the last time I went by, there was a line of cars waiting to order at their drive-thru, which got my attention. I visited for the first time on a Wednesday afternoon to see what all the hype was about. Glancing at their menu, I noticed they offer various mariscos and Mexican foods. Since I wasn't hungry, I ordered two tacos, one de asada and the other al pastor, the total came to be $4.60, which I thought was a good deal. The ambiance was relaxed, but it was pretty loud due to being located on a busy street (Rosecrans and Paramount). The seating was limited, but they had a drive-thru, which explained the line of cars I had seen previously.

It took about 5 minutes for my food to be prepared, and I also helped myself to some guacamole sauce from their condiment bar. My tacos were served in double tortillas filled with meat. The Asada was perfectly cooked and had a really good flavor. The al pastor was also delicious, and the guacamole sauce enhanced its taste.

In conclusion, if Tacos Giyo #2 can serve two delicious tacos, I can only imagine how tasty the rest of their food must be. I look forward to returning to try...

Actually so yummy. I parked nearby thinking I was going to try a different taco place, but the truck wasn't there that day. There were some local men just chilling at their truck in the lot, so we asked them if they recommended a taco spot, and they recommended Tacos Giyo which was within walking distance. I got the tostada de ceviche, which was literally a whole tray of shrimp and 2 tostada shells, and 1 cabeza taco. When it came out the window, I was literally shocked at how much food I got for the price. It was all under $8, and it couldn't get any better than this honestly. The flavors and balance were great, the staff were nice, the generosity in the volume of food, and the prices were amazing. The cabeza was wonderful--the perfect tender fatty meat 💜. I'll be back if I'm ever in the area again!

Really great food! The service is also always great wen i go here. I love the pastor and asada tacos they have a really great flavor. They are well served and not skimpped out on the meat. I would say the waters are ok. I like my water less sweeter than they make it. They also have a salsa bar so u can choose all your extra ingredients like lemons and carrots etc... grilled oñions🔥. There is no inside seating only outside seating which is pretty nice seating. I would definitely recommend this tacos,burritos,tortas place for sure. They also have mariscos but i havent tried them so i have no comment on the mariscos. I hope you like this place too.
