Sol Y Mar Mariscos Restaurant Paramount — Restaurant in Paramount

Left with a bad taste: I visited the Paramount location on Sunday, 07/12/20 at between 1-3pm. Although the outdoor dining area was full, there were 4 waitresses that were not organized and the 2 that answered with attitudes and we're extremely short with myself and my guest. The waitress who took my order was scantily dressed (mini see through dress as if she were going to the club) and never came back out to further assist us. Initially we had order a special mixed drink and when asked fora 2nd round, we were brought the wrong drink and the waitress didn't even allow us to tell her it was wrong because she left the drink on the table and left. Then when it came time to pay, I was charged for the wrong drink. Since another waitress placed the receipt on the table and left, I had to walk into the restaurant to speak to someone regarding that erroneous charge. Then when inside the 4 waitresses were arguing in front of a customer who and placed a phone order and was made to wait for more than 30 mins. When I finally spoke to 1 of them, all 4 of them became involved with my inquiry and started yelling and making snarky remarks. Instead of admitting to their mistake, offering to correct it or simply apologizing, 1 of the waitresses said out loud, "wow these people want everything for free." I mean seriously?! I could have easily walked away without paying but I wanted to address this issue so that no other Customer would go through this. Ultimately, I kept my cool and the drink was removed from my bill. My friend and I used to location very often but after that service, neither of us want to visit this location anymore. Other than that, the food isnis delicious and the price...

Thought we would try the new place in the neighborhood. We decided to invite a couple of neighbors as they are always looking out for us. The staff was friendly but not very attentive. There weren't that many people there but it felt like they were overworked or something. The place was clean but didn't feel any better than a fast-food place. For the four of us I spent almost $200 (including tip). I'm not against paying for a pricey meal if it's really good with nice portions... but unfortunately this place didnt have good portions or good food. So first of all when we walked in, of course the people greeted us but it was after we ordered that things were getting bad. All 4 of us had ordered tacos with of course something to drink. For these types of restaurant the servers are suppose to give us chips and salsa to the table but the lady did not. The server lady tried to charge us for the chips.
