WARNING: Not Deaf friendly
This happened pre-covid, before the mask mandate.
Ordered a medium mocha by typing it out on my phone: drink, size, no whipped cream. I wasnt expecting the cashier to say anything except he did. I couldn't hear that one sentence and said, what? He angrily said, anything else?!? Now I'm questioning if he got my order right since I couldn't hear the order. Bf came in, saw my face and asked what happened. The cashier kept trying to dimiss the whole thing, saying nothing happened. He asked to see manager, who then started gaslighting me by repeatedly saying "oh, he wasnt yelling. She heard wrong" Somehow that changed to "talk to me outside" as in fight me tone. I didnt even say anything? I am a Deaf woman and they were 2 abled male with accents.
I have encountered so many ignorant people, but they set the bar as they are the first to resort to violence. Not suprised, but I guess there are people who will go extreme length to not be accessible.
Update: I filed compliant with the corporate and the store owner emailed back, asking for my address to send me...

Simply asked if something was naturally sweetened, he rolled his eyes, threw the drink out, made another, then i tried the drink. I wish he had said 'yes, it's sweetened, would you like unsweetened'. Instead he just threw the drink out without saying anything and made another. Then screamed 'what do you want', when I said 'we wanted it unsweetened, why did you throw the first one out? You never asked if we wanted it sweetened or not'. The other patrons were also baffled by this. I don't blame them. This guy was scary he screamed. You could have probably heard him across the hall at J Crew to be honest. Please don't scream at your customers. Simply get another job if you don't like customer facing roles and don't ever assume things either. So rude. I'm sure there are plenty of other jobs at Dunkin Donuts that don't require you to interact...
Read moreBad customer service. I don’t understand how they let the app stay open past their closing time to take customer orders for an hour, despite closing the whole place at 9. App takes orders until 10pm. Tried to come in the next day to see if they could just make me the drink that I already paid for and they said no because there’s no ticket ??? I showed them my order and the associate from the night of saw me and I reminded her and they still wouldn’t make my drink. If I paid for it already why do I have to go through customer service that takes a few days to reply when I’m right there showing you my receipt ?
