Always constant for food quality and service. Several locations to choose from between the Little Rock and Dallas areas. A bowl of Bob’s Dip is the perfect starter, combining cheese, ground seasoned beef, sour cream and guacamole to deliver the perfect appetizer. Hot sauce is fairly mild by Texas standards but has a nice tomato and garlic flavor with just enough kick to keep you dipping. Pollo Monterey is a large flattened pair of chicken breast that tastes like they have been in a well seasoned marinade then grilled to perfection. Top that with layers of cheese and grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms. Lay all that on some seasoned rice and refried beans and you have a great dish to split, or if you are really hungry…don’t. Lunch portion is a single breast. Great fajitas and other traditional Tex Mex dishes, like chicken enchiladas, gives you plenty of options. Or, drift off and try their popular American fare like chicken strips or chicken fried steak dishes. Some serve Margaritas, depending on...
Read moreTypical tex mex. If you have nowhere else to turn but Paris, Texas and need a place to eat, it is highly recommended. Service can be hit or miss, especially during lunch and late afternoon when no one seems to care about their jobs anymore, but generally it is okay. Might be entertaining to know that a lot of Trump voters eat here. We mean a lot, like you can literally look into the crowd and imagine that guy that punched the protester at the Trump rally would eat here. The chimi plate is good, get the sour cream sauce and seasoned beef. Read moreWe gave TaMolly’s a try when we passed through Paris the other day, and it was great! We had the Trio Dip which had yellow queso, white queso, and guacamole. They were served in mini taco bowls, and each one was good. I had the Vera Cruz dinner, and overall it was good. If I ordered it again, I’d try the beef enchiladas with a different sauce than the chili. Mrs. Flip Out tried the TaMolly’s Dinner with chicken tamales in sour cream sauce. Both she and Littlest Flip Out really enjoyed it. The tamales had great flavor and the sour cream sauce was good. Little Flip Out had a taco and he enjoyed it. We don’t normally get dessert but we were curious about their pumpkin spice tamales. What a surprise! We were uncertain what to expect but it far exceeded our expectations. It turns out, they were a mouthwatering, sweet dessert tamale with a really nice balance of pumpkin that paired well with the caramel drizzle. Worth the stop if you’re...
