The Wine Barrel — Restaurant in Parker

We arrived at the winery and were asked if we were VIPs. We were not and were told they were having a private VIP party. We were welcomed to come back another time. My friends were from out of town and wanted to check out some local wineries because their son owns a winery back home. We were given a menu and sent on our way. While I absolutely understand that they had a private party, it would have been a good idea to have a sign on the door that said CLOSED FOR PRIVATE PARTY. My friends and I felt a little out of place and were made to feel embarrassed. Please put a sign on the door when you have a private party. What a gem! Tucked away, so make sure you don't miss this treasure - you won't be disappointed! Excellent wine variety - all made right there - fun atmosphere with very friendly owners and clientele.
