So we're out shopping and it's time to eat. The boss (wife) says she wants to sit down and have a nice lunch. Great honey! What do you want? I don't know. I don't care. How about this? Nah. Oooh, how about there. That's not what I'm thinking about. And there? Nope, not there either. Okay, what do you really want? I don't know. It doesn't really matter. 5 minutes later. I need to eat! Just stop at the next place. Good, I'm hungry also. We're eating here. Any place but there, but really soon, I'm getting "hangry". Sooo we decided to eat at Goodtimes. It's actually a sit down and eat, unlike most of the Goodtimes that we've eaten at. The restaurant was immaculate. Everyone was smiling. They actually were happy! Not sure if it was because of where they worked, how much money they were making or if it was because of me. They were awesome. The mushroom and Swiss burger was beyond any fast food burger I've had. The wife loved her chicken sandwich. The fries and onion rings were great and the portions were unbelievable. It's weird that I'm writing a review of a burger chain like it was a 5 star restaurant but it was definitely a 5 star experience!! Seriously, it was awesome. Make no mistake, it was a burger chain, it was fast food! However, the crew and especially the young man who took our order made me have to look and make sure where we were at. It's not Elways, but I've ate at Elways and the crew there had nothing on these guys. They need to put out a tip jar!!!...
Read moreWe go here a lot when we drive through Parker on our way back to Colorado Springs. Service and food is very hit and miss. It pretty much depends on if the owner is there or not. We stopped by on our way back from DIA yesterday and only the drive thru was open because of Covid 19 and the line was long. When we got to the intercom to order we were surprised on how rude the guy taking our order was. We had never had this happen. We finally get to the window and got our order and I asked if everything was in the bag and I got a sarcastic yes. We proceeded to leave and discovered that we didn't get an order of fries so I pulled back in the parking and tried to go inside. That's when I discovered the dining area was closed. Not wanting to sit through the drive thru again, I walked around the the drive thru window and explained that I was short some fries. The guy at the window told me to hold on and I had to stand in the drive thru as cars were getting there orders. No one offered to bring them out the front door. Once they finally gave me the fries he didn't even apologize for the mix up. The small bag of fries was half filled. As if this all wasn't bad enough we are headed south on 83 and start eating our food to discover that it was nothing like they advertised. Everything seemed to be halfway put together. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at...
Read moreThere's no option to give this place zero stars but I definitely would if I could! This was first time to ever into a good times burger restaurant and after my experience it'll be the last. After hearing the manager John ( he informed me that he was also the owner) complain that he could only do so much when I requested a refund after waiting 15 minutes for 1 bambino and an order of fried pickles and his attitude on the matter was as though I didn't matter. I won't be back. He didn't handle the matter professionally at all. He was making excuses and being rude. I write a lot of restaurant reviews and always honest and give my personal opinion which is what people look for when they read reviews. I'll have to say that this place didn't have together. They didn't seem to know what order belonged to whom and the manager/owner John was rude and seemed overburdened with the running of this restaurant. I may eventually try a good times burger again but it definitely will not be this location and neither will my family...
