Put a mobile order in for 2 baconators, one for my friend and one for myself. Got back and saw mine had only 1 hamburger patty on it instead of 2, all good, simple mistake. So I called up there and explained that my double burger was only a single and was placed on hold. The employee comes back and said he just spoke with the GM, who said he made the burgers himself, and knows there were 2 patties on it. ????? What?????? I asked if I could speak with him myself and he said that they were busy and to call back around 5:30. It was 2:30 at the time. Call back in 3 hours??? I immediately drove up there with my single burger and asked to speak with the manager who thought this was a double. After a couple minutes Stuart finally made his way up from the back. Of course, Stuart. Stuart told me he had 5 burgers on his grill and that he was sure that 2 went on mine. I assured him there was only one on mine and showed him. He said that he had it on cameras that he put 2 patties on it. ??????? We’re pulling camera footage for a single burger patty???? Great I said, and asked if I could see it and confirm, to which he refused. I asked him if he thought I went home and took a patty off, essentially calling me a liar, which he again refused to answer. Why, why, whyyyy would anyone do that?? I just want my food made correctly the first time. He was literally angry he had to make me another burger. Acting like the difference came out of his personal paycheck. Own up to your simple mistake Stuart and everything would’ve been fine. Now I’ll be escalating this to corporate, as I don’t appreciate being called a liar. Especially over something as stupid as a single hamburger patty. Take care Stuart, hope things go better in life for you so you’re not as defensive over a single hamburger patty.
Ready for the kicker??? My buddy I got the second baconator for SAID THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO HIM THERE JUST A COUPLE DAYS AGO! He ordered a Dave’s double, got a Dave’s single, and had to take it back. Mistakes are obviously a pattern at this restaurant. The only difference in our situations?? However, instead of the manager informing us that they were closed. They decided to take my money and handed me over cooked hamburgers. I mean black as coal and hard as a hockey puck with Cold, Stale fries. I should have checked my order at the window and then made them remake my order fresh . However, I thought that the manager on duty would be component enough to value good customer service, while demonstrating pride with his ability to run a Quality restaurant. I was wrong. This will definitely effect my decision in returning to this location...
Read morethis is the second time goin to this wendy’s and having a bad experience. last time i didn’t get my toppings for my salad, it was a summer berry salad so i needed the crunch to make it taste right, this time we double checked for my toppings and seen there was no dressing and the person in the window acted like i was a liar cuz the order taker messed up by only doin 1 drink and a fry when it was supposed to be 2 drinks. so once we are home and pulling everything out my husband is missing the chips for his taco salad and has no sour cream. so now he paid $8 for a small chili cuz goin back isn’t an option after sitting in the line for literally 25 mins already after placing our order. they need to get it together this...
