If I could have rated this particular location any lower, I surely would have. Yesterday, myself & 2 other friends went through the drive-thru. We stopped at the menu board to order- we had 3, separate orders. The first order consisted of a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger Deluxe, a medium fry and a large Coca-Cola. The 2nd order was a #4... a Homestyle Chicken sandwich, a large fry & a large sweet tea. The 3rd order was a pub chicken sandwich & a large Coca-Cola. The gentleman at the 1st window was friendly and organized, where the 3 orders were concerned. He took our money/debit cards and gave my friend his change. We all got our drinks. We waited for our food. We were given several bags, but were not told, "This is order #1, 2..." & so on. So, my friend says, "I didn't get my burger. I just got a small fry." I, too, checked my bag. Meanwhile, my other friend told the person at the window (the last one, where you get your food) that our friend's order was incorrect. She attempted to give them the incorrect order back, but an employee said, "We can't take that! Covid." So, we kept it. Fast-forward to me checking my order. I got a burger with cheese & other condiments that was literally COLD (I ordered the Homestyle Chicken meal. So, my friend told the man at the window, they also got my order wrong. The man walked away from the window and a woman returned. She said, "What is it you're saying you didn't get?" So, my friend begins by telling her about the 1st order (instead of the Junior Bacon Cheeseburger Deluxe & fry, he got a chicken sandwich). Then, she tells her about my order (instead of the Homestyle Chicken sandwich & a large fry, I got a single burger w/ cheese & some condiments and a small fry). The woman at the window said, "I made the order & I KNOW what I put in there. I put a chicken sandwich in one bag..." I said it was not in my bag. My friend said it wasn't in his bag. Our other friend said it was not in her bag, either. The woman repeated that she "knew" what she put in the bag. I leaned over from the passenger's seat and asked her, "When she (my friend) told you I ordered the #4, you acted like you didn't even know what that was. So, how can you be so sure you put a chicken sandwich in one of the bags? It's not in any of the bags. That means, you didn't put it in the bag." She looked angry and said, "Whatever." She looked at my friend & said, in a very unprofessional way, "What else are you saying we didn't give you?" By this time, employees behind her stopped working & rolled their eyes, talking to each other about the situation & so on. My friend said, "The only other thing we need is my pub chicken sandwich, that was not in my bag (she had already received a medium fry)" She replied, "Check the bags. It's in there!" I couldn't believe what we were going through... like it was somehow our fault they made the mistakes!? To appease this person, we checked our bags, yet again. NO CHICKEN SANDWICH. She walked off. About 5 mins. later, she returns with my friend's Pub Chicken sandwich. She gave her the bag , then said, "Is there anything else? You got everything now, right?" My friend replied, "Yes." We drove home, in shock that we had been treated so poorly, and for no reason whatsoever. When I got home, I started feeling strange. I felt sick to my stomach, where I had felt good earlier. I attempted to relax, but my stomach was very upset. The event that transpired, along with the awful food we were given, was the only, possible situation that could have contributed to sudden stomach pain. This experience is not indicative of all other Wendy's restaurants in the area; however... there is another restaurant (on Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, WV) where similar treatment & attitudes abound. Of the 3 of us that day, we were all pretty shocked & upset about what we'd just experienced at Wendy's. I worked for Wendy's in high school and the restaurant was not run this way. We had a good manager who stressed the importance of a positive work environment, as well as excellent customer service. Much work must...
Read moreI recently bought some chicken wraps from this location. Approximately fifteen minutes ago. I stopped by on my way to work.
All four of the chicken wraps I purchased were gushing with what I would barely describe, and only hope, was an ambiguous mustard. The amount of lettuce would have done well as a feast for an ant family of four to five. Worst of all however was the chicken. Which had a distinct fish taste. Like an old farm raised salmon shoved in my old gym teachers tube socks.
I had ordered a chicken wrap with extra lettuce and without sauces or cheese. I instead received whatever the, rather distracted, work line could manage to put in a tortilla and place in a paper sheet.
I highly recommend the Wendy’s in Vienna. They at least pretend to care long enough to take your order without having a side conversation.
I’ve given this location a rating of two stars which is one below average. I didn’t give it an average rating because other locations are much better. I rated this location above a one because they managed to get an order to me in a timely manner.l and the crew was at minimum sociable. If this were a question of marksmanship I’d say the have an average grouping with poor...
