We've been to Luna's many times and they're always good! Good food, reasonable prices. I just wanted to make a suggestion and not sure where to write it, so I hope the management will read this. The only reason why I gave 4 stars because there is a problem that may not be recognized. People are busy and may not be paying attention.
Outside in your parking lot, you have handicapped parking. The problem is, the seniors with their walkers and canes and I had a knee replacement, we have to take that step up on the curb or worse yet, down off the curb to get to our cars. A real fall risk! I noticed you have a "ramp" all the way on the opposite end of your sidewalk with holes in the blacktop for anyone using it to get around the holes! Then they have to walk across the parking lot in the opposite direction to be able to get to where they parked in the handicapped space! These are your regular customers, but you're not making it easy for us!
The other is your entry doors are heavy for a senior to pull open using a walker or cane. Why not a handicapped button that can be pushed to open or close the two doors?
I know this can get expensive to correct as a summer project, but I'm thinking prevention of someone falling and getting hurt would cost the business more than if the work was just done in the first place. We came there today and a woman outside with her walker was talking about it while we were outside. She said you don't make it too easy to come there as a customer! It's a challenge! So how about this being a project this coming summer to make these improvements outside and your doors. There should be no curbs where the handicapped...
Read moreFirst time here. I'm new here from Pittsburgh. My brother and I came here on a whim. Mistake! The hostess or server greeted us with a dry "hi" upon entering. "Breakfast or lunch?" Was her next question. Its after 2 in the afternoon. Okay, she says nothing else, grabs two menus and and proceeded toward a table, again saying nothing. She drops the menus on a random table with her back turned to us not saying a word and continued walking away. My brother and I wondered what table she threw our menus on because she did it so fast. We then decided to Ieave. I then called and spoke to the manager to express my concerns letting her know of my experience and her response to me was,"oh, okay". Then we hung up. No apology or anything. I didn't realize that blacks were not welcome in your restaurant. in all of my days I've never been treated with such disrespect. They must not realize that the "Jim Crow" laws are no longer in affect. Not to mention the restaurant smelled as if it hadn't had a thorough cleaning in ages. You have got to be kidding; all the competition in the area and this is how you treat the few customers you do have? 2 in the afternoon on a Saturday and the place was empty... Warning...Normally you smell food when you walk into a restaurant, not Luna's ... bad omen... Management could care less about customers... Recipe for disaster. DO NOT EAT HERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOUR A PERSON OF COLOR, THIS INCLUDES MY HISPANIC BROTHERS...
Read moreI absolutely love coming here. Everyone is always so friendly and pleasant and it has a homestyle feel to it. Even the other customers when they come in everyone knows everyone kind of like (Cheers) lol. Today I had an order and a portion of it was a lil' cold. My waitress gave me a whole new portion without complaint and I never had to ask for a refill on my beverage. To me that's exemplary customer service. I have lived twice now in Parma Heights and always drove by here. Up until recently this past year I really enjoy going to diners because it doesn't have that commercialized feel to it where Diners has the feeling of being at home. I've been going to Luna's atleast once every two weeks recently. Been there 5 times now. Breakfast 3 times, Lunch and Dinner once. The first four times derve a 5. Today would be a 4 and that was just for the cold portion that was rectified by my waitress. Tastes are always amazing there and I will continue to come every two weeks if not once a week. Others go there frequently and that obviously shows consistency. I hope that continues for all us and to any new face that walks in there. Thank you Luna's for making my meals feel like home. I wish you all the best and continued success in being a local town hero for...
