Deserves less than a 1 star rating. Was approached by employee or owner with regard to trained, licensed, and federally tagged, leashed and harnessed small Breed mobility service dog. The man stated dogs aren't allowed due to hair etc. First and foremost, I didn't expect him to know the breed is non-shedding, secondly, I showed the employee the federal laws regarding accessibility of service dogs into any and all public buildings and each rule that applies under the protection. Despite these facts, the man continued to attempt to deny the dog access despite his trained purpose! My sister offered to order for me but the employee walked away and went into the kitchen and we decided to leave and report the restaurant for disability discrimination. I live reasonably close to the restaurant and have frequently ordered and picked up food from the same individual, but without the dog due to close proximity from parking to the door, the dog was not always needed. I will NEVER AGAIN EAT at the restaurant. Period. I will be expecting my Witten apology from them via the Better Business Bureau. Two years with this animal and this was the first time we were treated poorly and I will not tolerate it. I didn't show bias during the pandemic, but then again, actions speak louder than words. We ordered and picked up our food from another asian restaurant visually across the street thar knows me, who I have been a customer of since 1999. They greeted me by 1st name, welcomed the dog, took the order and had it ready in 10 minutes and that was that. So much is to be said about disability bias and the lack of knowledge of FEDERALLY PROTRCTED SERVICE ANIMALS. I will update my review if the proper response is received....
Read moreOur first time ordering was last night. I read the reviews, and all seemed very good, but our food was not very good. I normally would not expect much from Chinese takeout, but the great reviews had me hoping for something at least decent and better than the average Chinese takeout. I would have given three stars for average food, but this was below average. The food had very little flavor. Friend ordered General Chen's Chicken (in lieu of General Tso's Chicken?) and it had a thin, bland, sweet sauce. Breading on chicken was not good either. I ordered Hibachi Chicken. Again, very thin sauce, little flavor, and chicken was dry/overcooked, or possibly old--I could not really tell. There was lots of it, and yes, portions were large, but that wasn't a bonus. It was just more wasted food that went into the garbage can. The rice that came with the Hibachi Chicken (which was nicely on the side in a separate container) looked great. Had fresh mushrooms in it and all, but very bland. The one thing I must compliment is that they used a lot of fresh vegetables, and that was good to see. I just wish the overall dishes had been more palatable. Pot stickers were large, but were doughy/raw inside. Meat was cooked, though. I usually like to give places a second chance, but our food cost almost $30 and was quite disappointing. I don't know that we will...
Read moreOrder came warm and took an hour to get ( it was a Friday night. Really can't complain.) The sesame chicken dinner looked beautiful. There was so much food, but the chicken was really soft, and the rice was really dry. Used to having crisp sesame chicken. I guess every place is different. I ordered the chicken in vegetables. It's not the best I've had by far. The chicken seemed undercooked, and there wasn't any flavor to the sauce ( had to doctor it up). The rice was also extremely dry and sticky ( seemed old, stale). Wonton soup didn't hit the spot. The noodles seemed overcooked and were falling apart. I really wanted to like this place. I hear so many good things about them. It just wasn't up to par for me. The best part is that the dinner came with an egg roll. My daughter enjoyed that. And the wonton shrimp chips were included that's a bonus for me. Maybe ordered to late? I'll give them another try on a...
