Extremely Disappointing Experience – Worst Service I’ve Ever Had at McDonald’s My family and I have always enjoyed McDonald’s. We visit regularly and typically spend around $13–17 per person. Unfortunately, our visit on Tuesday, April 1st, around 2:30PM, was a complete disaster — by far the worst experience I’ve had at any McDonald’s location. First, there was no option for table service, which was surprising, as I’ve always seen it offered before. We arrived around lunchtime and placed a dine-in order, yet we had to wait 23 minutes, and the food was handed to us in a takeout bag. When I asked why, the employee simply said, “That’s how we’re doing it right now,” with no further explanation. The dining area was chaotic. There was a long line of people waiting for their food, and it was clear that the staff was overwhelmed and the operation poorly managed. Tables were dirty, trash bins were overflowing, and not a single staff member was visible in the lobby to help or maintain order. When I finally got my order, there was no ketchup, and no ketchup station available. I went back to the counter and waited 6 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. A male employee with dark hair actually walked past the counter and completely ignored me. When I finally got someone’s attention, I was able to ask for ketchup — something that should’ve been ready and accessible. To make things worse, the fries were carelessly tossed in the bag, not even placed properly in the container. From what I saw, many customers were dealing with similar issues — long waits, wrong packaging, missing items, and a complete lack of organization. It honestly felt like no one was in charge. This visit completely ruined our lunch and left a very bad impression. McDonald’s usually stands for consistency and reliability, but this location failed on every level. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes the...
Read moreThe only consistency I've gotten from this location is disappointment. I'll be generous and say I get the correct order about 20% of the time, but even in that 20% window, my food is a mess. Today I was told after multiple times of ordering my food this way at multiple McDonald's (and being an employee for 5+ years in a training position) that I would be charged to sub mayo. This is only one example of the ways these employees are showing they aren't trained to fully understand their POS systems...on top of that, the day I actually receive a cheeseburger with the bun, patty, and toppings neatly constructed and wrapped in the paper will probably be the day the world is ending. My bun is forever topped with onions, or mustard, or ketchup every trip. Are the staff being trained on the kitchen line not reviewed after they've been trained to ensure they are doing their job correctly or is lazy behavior just enforced at this location? I let a lot slide knowing the stresses and pains of working food service, but come on. Your job is not overly complicated if you put an ounce of effort into it. Would have failed this store today if I was a secret shopper. The drive thru workers were friendly but that's about all they had going. The manager even asked me to pull up to wait for my food but I had to confirm where. The fact I have more concern about not disrupting the flow of the drive thru for my inconvenience tells me either there is a lack of training, caring or just plain negligence going on thru management and ownership at...
Read moreIf I could give this place minus zero stars, I would. My daughter and I placed an order at this McDonald's after doing 2 hours of grocery shopping in Middleburg heights. We got about halfway home when my daughter decided to eat her chicken sandwich, finding out that they have not given the proper order. We ordered a deluxe chicken and just got a regular chicken. We went back to McDonald's to advise them that they had given us the wrong sandwich, thinking that we would just have the sandwich replaced, since she had only taken one bite out of it. The disrespect, attitude, and overall lack of consideration towards customer service was overwhelming. We were told that we would have to pay an extra dollar, on top of the disrespect we received, even though they clearly provided the wrong order. I explain to them, that I drove clear from Seven Hills back to the Middleburg Heights area, so my daughter could have what she had requested to begin with. I was told that I could either pay the dollar or take my sandwich back and when I asked to speak to the manager I even got more attitude from both the girls laughing and smiling at me and telling me that they were both managers. I will never go to this McDonald's again. I understand that customer service is lacking and employees are short, due to COVID-19. However, I certainly feel, rather it is a franchise store or corporately owned this is not the public image McDonald's would like to portray as a family...
