Tuesday 5/29/18 is the last time I will enter this place, the first time a few weeks ago we went in on a Tuesday to eat, we had a party of 8 and one high chair total of 3 kids the rest adults. There was a table with 6 seats sitting in the middle of dining area empty, we told them after they called at least 4 to 5 smaller parties to sit down that came after us that they could sit a few of us in the table that sat 6 and a few of us in a nearby booth, they ignored us for over 45min telling us that the kitchen was backed up (which it wasn't) I saw people sitting down and getting their meals w/in 15min (remember I stood there for 45min) when we told them there were empty tables in the back they said they were short servers. When we went to the hostess again stating to please sit us down in separate tables she said that she couldn't do that to the server, I told her now that's the excuse?! well it isn't going to work, we have four different checks you're not doing anything to the server, and if that was the case she should have asked if we were all on one check at the beginning, I don't know what made her assume that since our party had 6 adults? Finally the manager sat us in the empty table in the back, I guess they got to talking to the bartender because when our waitress put in my order for a Michelob ultra at half time, he didn't tell her the keg needed to be replaced until the end of the rockets game while he was handing bottled Michelob ultra to other servers and giving them to customers up in the front of the restaurant. I told the manager I wouldn't give a bad review since she took most of my order off of my ticket and if she would make sure this didn't happen again. Well that brings me to my visit on this past Tuesday, came in with a different party of 12 told them 5 of them were kids, hostess tells me it'll be about 30 minutes, I go to the bathroom, come back, the manager stops me (a different manager) how many kids do you have? I said 5 and she says well I hope you know there are two other big parties in front of you? I said yes and the hostess told me it would be about 30 min and she says well not really, more like 45min, !!with an attitude!!!, the waiting area probably had 5 or 6 ppl besides us and there were empty tables everywhere. I don't know if I look like somebody who walked out on a ticket on them or did something wrong in their eyes but I hardly every go to this brewingz, I just happened to be in this area for other reasons, I go to the one by my neighborhood off spencer, so they are sadly mistaken for whatever reason they continue to treat me and my family like this. Today, I have no need to edit this 5 star rating after yet another pleasant visit here. 😊 Why edit by adding text to 5 stars that needed no additional edits? Well, We wanted to thank you again as my husband & I started our adventure with the thought of trying a 'different' wing place but we should have known! .. Bayou City Wings was the place we sat and waited to be acknowledged. (They have a 1 star for what I'm currently explaining) We waited more than 15 minutes before my husband decided he was done waiting for service. He walked out stating that he was just trying to get some wings but we'll take our business elsewhere. Now, beer & wings is his favorite thing. So we visit often!
Needless to say, as we arrive at BrewingZ. Without hesitation, we are greeted & seated & immediately, our waitress hurries over to offer drinks. I can tell you, our waitress was on spot! Amazing service! A very patient yet on the ball type. Seeing as she is expecting a baby, we were grateful for her prompt & courteous service. I took time, as we are Army parents, to read an Army post out loud & 😭 waterworks flowed. Our waitress, without knowing anything, still again asked if we were okay. I couldn't look her in the eye as I was crying, thinking of my son deployed for new trainings & God knows for how long with the pandemic. It IS the Army. 🤷♀️😥 .. Anyway, my husband & I both responded that we are just fine & thanked her again for checking on us. .. We finished up & she offered a 'to go' box but we refused. We asked for the check & settled the bill.
I know this is an over explanation for a completely POSITIVE review but we felt the need to express how great BrewingZ ALWAYS is! Read moreWell I had issues with ubereats. By mistake I asked for boneless wings instead of traditional wings. After ubereats couldn't help me. I was told by the General manager that I can come and switch out my wings. When I got there the manager was nice but apparently we had some miscommunication. I assumed she said I could get my beer on the house but instead it was my food that was on the house. Later to be told by the GM that the woman couldn't give me my food on the house because of ubereats would have to give me the refund. Mind you I ordered my food around 2pm. I didn't get to them in Pasadena Texas until after 5pm and I stay in Houston. So my whole point is that I didn't get any customer satisfaction without extra bs. If I was told something and they couldn't own up to what was told to me. Then I should of had some type of accomdation for all the bs I experienced. I went out my way just for their wings. I worked in customer service for years. So I wasn't out of control when speaking or after I was upset. I didn't curse. I was so upset. I couldn't dare to continue so I paid for my beer and exited in a friendly manner....
