La Iglesia Del Pueblo — Attraction in Pasadena

I have been attending this church for 2yrs now, I was happy Pastor Ruben has a very good way of preaching gospel and the church is welcoming. There is a good goal of bringing your one, ive brought 3 of my ones. Now you might say, why on earth is this a one star review, I brought my newly converted family members 3 months in the faith, to a service this past weekend, the political tension was high, and the mention of political figures as if they were preachers made my family RUN, they are currently seeking a new church. I loved this church but i need Jesus not Kirk, Kamala, Trump, or Clinton, i NEED Jesus to convert people to love and to have them be new beings. I can understand opinions, but politics in church almost lost the salvation for my people ive been struggling to bring. I should only have to defend Jesus and not other followers. Great church but the political stance doesnt help me bring converts here, unless theyre conservative and i guess thats ok but not everyone has the same political ideologies. I need a CHRISTIAN Church, where the focus is Jesus....

This is the best church i have ever been. The pastors are such a blessing to my soul. Every time im there i learn something new. I went to Puerto Rico, before the cyclones and i suffered so much there! With no water, no food, no medication no communication at all. But i know deep in my heart that my family from LA IGLESIA DEL PUEBLO WERE PRAYING FOR ALL OF US. Now i'm back and i feel very happy within the people of God, my brothers and sisters that i missed so much. Yes because here we are a family. THE FAMILY OF THE LIVING ALMIGHTY GOD. First time I went was on Christmas Eve, I haven’t been to church in years consistently. I’ve been to elim church , Crux ministries years ago. to be honest I went maybe twice to one my family attends (on point ministries) but other than that, before it had been years. I’m glad I went because I enjoyed the songs I’ve heard of before and know. they always get me tearing up 🥹 I enjoyed the message the pastor gave that day. He really spoke to my husband and me.
