On December 26th at around 10pm my parents went to the drive thru and the employee at the window said that they had to go inside to order. Once inside my 75 year old father ordered his food at the counter. They explained that they weren't taking drive thru orders because an employee had her purse stolen. About 20 mins later no sandwich came out. When my dad asked about his sandwich they said they were making someone else's who had just come thru the drive thru. My dad said well i have to leave so "can i please just please have a refund as i came prior to the person in the drive thru and need to leave."
They said their manager was on break so no refund could be accomplished. She then told my dad that he was entitled. When he asked how that could be and explained that he had arrived prior to the car she continued to berate him and made further belittling and rude comments.

Read moreThis location is really suffering from lack of staff. On our visit, only 1 person in the kitchen and 1 person working the registers and drive-through during the lunch rush. I felt really bad for the employees, who were clearly stressed and fed-up given the situation. We were second in line (eat-in) and it took about 15 minutes before we could order (lots of drive-through customers, who are prioritized) and another 15 minutes to get our food. We were missing our soft drink cup, plus the kids meal milk and toy. Lots of other customers had their orders messed up, too. The manager simply said “we ran out of kids toys” and turned away to work on other orders (we were not warned of so when we ordered, either). Read moreCarl's Jr has been my favorite burger place since I was a student. However, I am disappointed with the 1/3 lb charbroiled Angus burger. I ordered two Angus burgers in February which were so raw that I got sick after having just one bite. Today, I ordered another two and one of them was not cooked enough, just like those in February. I went back to the store and the staff gave me two replacements. The staff said I have to tell them I want the burger "well done". I have never heard that customers need to ask for burgers to be well done at a fast food store. This time, the beef patty of both burgers were both burned. I don't think I will go back to the same...
