Denny's — Restaurant in Pasadena

Came in this place after 4:10 am when I walked in the waitress told me I can sit anywhere after taking a seat she took a few minutes after being distracted by her phone brought me a menu and asked what I wanted to drink I told her coffee that was the only quickest service I got ....I ordered my food after she left the menu after looking it over and waited 20 min while once again distracted by her phone she finally comes to get my order I ordered a appetizer which should of came before the meal and a lumberjack breakfast with extra bacon and sausage when the food was ready it sat in the window getting cold while she took care of a customer paying his tab then after correct back to her phone finally after seeing me constantly looking back to the kitchen she goes checks on my order she grabs it out of the window brings me my appetizer and meal at the same time but didn't bring my extra links and bacon I ordered when I told her about it her reply was oh you wanted extra links and bacon then she goes get them the bacon was cold the sausage wasn't that hot the eggs tasted weird and cold by the way the hashbrowns were cold only thing hot still were the pancakes and also I had to flag her down for another cup of coffee to wash the cold stuff down I am never coming back here again and u never say that about any business I've been a cook for 91/2 yrs I've never had such atrocious food and can't believe I was served that if the manager reads this good luck eggs and toast I couldn't touch or force myself to eat anymore eggs I took 2 bites it was nasty bacon ham and links I ate even though they were cold pancakes were...

If I could give them zero stars I would. I had the worse experience at this Denny’s. First off they weren’t even busy to begin. I ordered my daughter the birthday sprinkles pancakes first since she knew what she wanted. I then ordered my food along with my husband’s food. I had a regular cheeseburger and fries and he ordered the “sizzling” Santa Fe skillet. We waited almost 30 minutes for our order when the food came out the food was cold. I’ve order the sizzling skillet before and it’s normally that sizzling and hot. My burger was cold as well as my fries, when I asked for ranch the waitress response was “oh we don’t have any” when at the beginning I asked for ranch when I placed my order. This was a disappointment. When I proceeded to speak to the manager and advise him that the only food I’m paying for was my daughter’s pancakes, he wants to have a come back and say I’m not charging you for the rest of the things you ordered. Why would you charge me for something that 1. Is cold and 2. I didn’t eat. Carlos the manager needs to do better, not even an apology for my horrible experience or cold food but all he tried to do was justify their behavior. I will NEVER return to this Denny’s ever again!!!! Instead of putting your customer service skills to use as a manager and their employees they just want to make it seem like you are in the wrong!!!! After spending time at the nearby Social Security office, I was hungry. So, I used Google maps to find out where the nearest Denny's was. This location is literally around the corner! (0.2 miles!)

When I walked in all was quiet, Tausha saw me and greeted me right away. She also saw that I was using my cane and seated me quickly in the nearest booth. Before I was able to actually sit down, Tausha had a menu and cutlery on the table, asking if I would like anything to drink. I ordered a decaf coffee ☕️. She gave me time to look at the menu. At first, I was looking at a grilled cheese sandwich with soup. However, the soup of the day was chicken noodle soup and I was just not into it. Then I asked about the Slow Pot Roast Melt, if the meat was tender...(I hate loosing my bottom denture when taking a big bite 🤣!). She said it was very tender. That is what I ordered. Oh, and you have a choice between fries or onion rings. I went with the rings. My order didn't take long and I could enjoy a very tender melt!!!😋 Tausha was also on point when checking on me with refills!!! This Denny's was very quiet when I went there. Also, the restaurant and facilities were clean. When I went to pay, I presented my AARP card and received a discount. Love it! No problem using up the balance on my gift card either.
