Hong Kong Express — Restaurant in Pasadena

It is the worst fast food restaurant I have ever been. One lady that works there is really disrespectful and looks like she hate's her job which it is no one's fault. There has been not only once, but twice where the same lady has giving me a hard time. First time I went there I ordered a bowl and she serves me my bowl half way full not lying there was more rice than meat it was like a few pieces of meat. I told her can you put some more meat please. She gets upset and she starts to give me an attitude and tells me if you want more I will charge you more. I was really upset and I said no thank you and she was still talking smack when I was walking away. Decided to give it a second try and told myself maybe the lady had a bad day. So I went and took my family. My daughter wanted to try some potatoe chicken. I ask, can I get a sample for my daughter. She hands me just a potatoe and I told her can you give me a small piece of chicken so my daughter could try. She said "no the potatoe taste just like the chicken and we are not allowed to give samples". What kind of place does not give samples and how hard was it to give a small sample of chicken for my daughter to try. I How would I know if my daughter will like and plus I will not waste money on something that my children don't like.This place is the worst, it is not professional at all. I read some of the reviews & most were crazy Customer service - they do their job, get you your food in- and- out quick and you get to start eating. I don’t understand why people leave such mean reviews. I found the food here to be fresh and hot. The food had flavor and I enjoyed their generous use of crisp veggies. No...it doesn’t have atmosphere. Neither does McDonalds. This is a fast food place and should be reviewed as such. You can’t compare it to a high end restaurant. That’s so unfair.

And I have no connection or affiliation with this restaurant. I just appreciate the plight of small business owners who are unfairly attacked in anonymous reviews.
