Great delicious creamy ice cream, variety of flavors, affordable (unlike some other places that charge upwards of $5.00 just to have food mixed in on a stone with your ice cream ....); they also have other snacks and difficult to find flavors (I am partial to their "chongos' ice cream), they have something for the entire family. The place is clean and for the most part the staff is profesional and courteous. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because despite coming here for years on one occasion I had a teenage boy who works there literally say to his co-worker "I don't want to serve this lady" and walked away from the counter as I was about to place my order - HOW RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! the co-worker was as confused as I was but took my order and attempted to play what happened off. The owner needs to be careful with the staff because bad customer service can throw away all the good things about a business and they can potentially lose many customers since it's not only myself but my entire immediate and extended family patronizing the business; they can lose not only one client but dozens of clients over one...

It was such a hot day, so we wanted something cold and sweet. We checked out another place first that was ridiculously packed and not enough tables or chairs for the space, so we left and came here. There were a few people here as well, but we were able to snatch a table. I had a medium banana split with gansito flavor ice cream and coffee flavor, topped with sliced banana, chocolate hard shell syrup, pecans, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. The older lady that works there makes horrible mangonadas. She leaves big chunks because she doesn’t mold it correctly. I ask for light chamoy and she puts a ton, then made a new one and literally just put a small dash of chamoy. I feel she doesn’t use her common sense, then gets upset for having to ask her to mold the mangonada correctly. Mind you, we are steady with our spoons trying to break the mangonada ice. It’s annoying. I always get her for some reason and try to be patient as possible. This is why I drive to the Richey location. Don’t bother...
