Not too bad, but still forgettable.
Stopped in for a lunch special and got a shrimp tempura roll, BBQ beef and the standard sides (rices, salad, miso soup) for about ten bucks. Not too impressed with the beef and would not order that again. Just not the amount of flavor and freshness I like. Shrimp tempura was better, but still pales in comparison to Sushi of Naples which isn't too far from this place.
Glad I checked the place out, but I will stick with Sushi of Naples next time I'm craving...

However there were only 2 waitstaff available when I was there and they appeared very busy. One more floor staff member would have been useful. Sushi was fresh and quality was fair. Read moreGood place to go for lunch. Check the hours first as they chose at 2pm (?) I think the diners are a mix of Caltech people, realtors, and nearby residents. Easily compared to most other Japanese restaurants. I think the prices are fair, maybe a few bucks more than others. I like that they bring the food fairly quickly, as well as the check.
