I Love this store! Everything about it is genuine and whimsical. It just feels so good to support fair trade.
The only BAD part about this store is the MANAGER. LAUREL. I spoke to her previously to order a large quantity of a products in inventory. She was very curt and did not want to sell the available product I was looking for. Her reason was that she was going to use them for a party. (I thought to myself, why are they on the shelves, if it is not available?) I found her to be unprofessional and also annoyed by my call. I figured she was having a bad day and let it go as we all can have bad days too.
But I called today, I needed a copy of a receipt from a previous large order I purchased and the manager quickly said no. What got to me was how much annoyed she was that I even ask for such a request. She recommended I use my credit card statement. Unfortunately, I need a copy of the receipt for accounting purposes to support the CC statement. Manager, Laurel was not available to provide one, nor the desire to put effort into providing some sort of receipt. She is the manager, I am sure she can figure something out, right?!
I love that store so much, I will continue to shop there because why should the global artist suffer by one person's unprofessional, and rude behavior. I recommend customer service training for her. Especially because she is a manager.
All the other workers are so nice and lovely- keep up...

When you run the stick along its back, it makes a surprisingly realistic croaking sound that makes me smile. It reminds of the time I could hear the frogs in Hawaii or from what I’ve been told about the coqui frogs in Puerto Rico.
It’s such a simple item, but it brings a lot of joy. I also love knowing that my purchase supports fair trade artisans around the world. This shop has such a great collection of meaningful, handcrafted goods, all with such an amazing backstory. I absolutely recommend stopping by whether buying for yourself...
