Joe G. We’ve never been so disrespected while dining ever. Joe was our server and from the beginning we could feel he did not want to be there. When he took our order, he had a hard time hearing us when we’d be shouting/ repeating what we said (he could have moved closer to hear). Then he pretended not to understand Spanish and made our guest feel bad that he couldn’t understand her. (He later spoke Spanish to us when asking him something which confirmed he knew what we were saying). When the food finally came, he asked if we needed anything else: I asked for a soda and he sighed /rolled his eyes and walked away. Didn’t say anything and it got to me maybe 5 minutes later. He seemed very annoyed that I asked. We then asked him for extra plates and silverware. Again, he was very annoyed we even asked and when he came back with the plates, he slammed them on the table. Also, we found a hair in the fettuccine Alfredo. We brought it to Joes attention and he was not apologetic in the slightest and put instant blame on the kitchen staff. Even if the hair did come from kitchen staff, that’s no way to throw your coworkers under the bus. Finally, when he dropped the bill, he stood around, hovering over us instead of giving us time to figure out payment. I told him we weren’t ready and again, signed, rolled eyes and walked away. What the hell!? People dine out for the experience, not to be treated like they’re a nuisance. Joe is not a new server, so the way he was behaving was completely unacceptable. By the way, we were a party of 6 and you would have thought we were a party of 12. I am afraid to come back to spankys in fear of being treated...
Read moreI wanted to like this place but it was kinda "meh so so" ...I suppose it was our fault for choosing to sit at a table near the bar, on the right side of the establishment, so the bartender was our server, not that there was very many people seated there, but she was very NOT attending and not attentive, she was nice but below a typical server standard, she didn't even introduce herself by name. Our drinks took a long time to receive, and she got my husband's drink order wrong, but seeing as how it took forever to even get them, he went ahead n drank it, our appetizers took a while as well... we finished them and we were all waiting for the main course, it took more than 24 minutes to get the main dish, my kids wanted to leave, they were tired of waiting and honestly so were we, but we felt we couldn't leave, cuz we were " in to deep". She didn't come and ask if we needed anything after we got our main dishes, until we were half way done, again there was not many people here at the time. The appetizers were very good, the food was pretty good as well, but my own dish, I didn't really like it, I ordered the garlic n shrimp fettuccine, it had a rather TOO sweet taste to it. If we should ever return, we'll sit on the left, the table side, perhaps the service...
Read moreEdit... so the service is still lacking most of the time I go here but the food is good and the beer is cold!
We decided to go a little early to avoid the dinner rush, but apparently, their staff these days is very lacking! Our waitress Dalia was subpar from the get-go... starting with having to wait almost 10 minutes for drinks. Then she finally got back around to us to see that my beer had been delivered by another waitstaff member because I was caught looking around for her. So then she just pointed at my beer and kept walking, and still didn't ask if we wanted to order an appetizer or if we were ready to order yet. Another 5 minutes went by, and she asked then, so I told her our appetizer order, and then I said our pizza order... specifically stating the appetizer first. Well, as you're reading this, you can probably guess, we got the pizza FIRST! And that was brought out by the manager...then another 10 minutes later we got our appetizer. The pizza was not up to the standards that I'm used to here either, but the shining bright spot were the rings and jalapeños...perfect!
I was very disappointed in the service of this waitress, and I highly doubt that I will ever accept to be sat in her...
