Tsujita is a great spot for ramen, especially if you're into dipping ramen (tsukemen). We're so happy they opened a new location here in Pasadena! The noodles are thick and chewy, served chilled alongside a rich, savory broth without being too salty. The contrast between the cold noodles and hot broth creates a satisfying balance, and it’s easy to see why this is their signature dish. We ordered two of the special deals, each priced at a reasonable $15.50. The deal includes a full portion of tsukemen with chashu and a seasoned egg, with a side of the homemade spicy miso paste for you to make your own spicyness. The portion itself is filling and well worth the price. The chashu was tender, the egg was perfectly cooked and marinated, and everything was served fresh. We also tried their traditional soup ramen, which offered a lighter but still flavorful broth for those who prefer a more classic style. To round out the meal, we ordered one of their rice bowls. It was simple and well-executed, with nicely seasoned sliced pork belly and properly cooked rice topped with delicious sauce and a half marinated egg. The service was friendly and efficient. Our food arrived quickly, and the staff made sure everything was in order without being overbearing. The atmosphere was casual and clean, with a comfortable layout that makes it easy to enjoy a meal whether you're dining solo or with friends. It’s a welcoming place that focuses on the food, which we appreciated. Overall, Tsujita delivers quality ramen with good variety, fair prices, and a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a solid choice for anyone craving a satisfying bowl of noodles.

No amount of poorly-written AI reviews can do this awesome place justice, so as always, you're getting a human-written review from a human-experienced event. Yesenia was our server and she was a 10/10 all-around super professional server from the moment we set fot in the establishment. The food itself is unmatched. I have been to their San Gabriel location at least 3 or 4 times and this place is just as good in terms of flavor and quality. The ambiance is great, the server even went as far as lowering the window blinds after some new customers walked in and they sat close to one of the windows. Tsukemen will forever remain as my favorite kind of Ramen (it's basically cold noodles that you dip in a hot and salty broth served in a small bowl on the side). One of the assistant managers offered to help me in how to eat it but I was already familiar with the concept, so I thanked her for her offer and proceeded to eat. The fried chicken is another ball game, it's literally Japanese fried chicken but they also add a touch of some sort of honey-based syrup that makes it 100 times better. My parents had the tonkotsu and it was great too. Truly a remarkable experience in the heart of Old Town Pasadena.

I visited on a weekday when they just opened so it wasn't too busy. We were seated quickly, and had time to look at the menu. Tsujita is known for their tsukemen, however I really wanted tantanmen this time, so I went for their Tokyo "Killer Noodle" style. It was pretty good, a standard taste of typical tantanmen. The meat was a bit too sweet for my taste though. I had lvl 3 in "spiciness", but it was a bit mild for me so I would probably try a 4 or 5 next time. Service was great as well; the server was attentive and answered any questions we had. Overall, I really enjoyed this location of Tsujita. I've been to the Sawtelle one many times, but it's always very busy and the food quality is a hit or miss.

Tsujita Pasadena is hands down one of the best ramen spots in LA. The tsukemen is the star of the show, it’s thick, springy noodles with a rich dipping broth that’s savory, smoky, and absolutely addictive. Don’t skip the finish: ask for hot broth at the end and it transforms into a soul-warming soup.

The karaage is everything fried chicken should be: crispy outside, juicy inside, and seasoned perfectly. Pair that with their gyoza, which are pan-fried to golden perfection, and you’ve got the dream trio.

Service is warm, efficient, and the space feels modern yet welcoming. Parking in Pasadena can be tricky, but this place is worth every spot you circle for.

A must-visit whether you’re a ramen devotee or just curious. Tsujita makes the kind of meal you’ll crave again...
