We stopped by for dinner on our way home from the beach around 5pm on 9/5. On the plus side, the food was great and the girl that took our order was very friendly.
On the downside, the kid who bagged our order had his long hair down and all over his face, was not wearing gloves, and his mask was down at his chin. Also, there were 2 managers standing right next to him. He was nice when he brought our bag over but was clearly annoyed that I asked him to please put his mask on and that when he only covered his mouth and not his nose, I asked him a second time to put it all the on. I’m immunocompromised. I have no way to know where this guy has been or if he’s been taking safety measures (unlikely from his attitude). It’s not cool at all to be blatantly not following even basic food handling guidelines (hair and gloves), let alone the extra precautions for COVID. I have no doubt that I was dismissed as a Karen and that he returned to his previous state once I left, but I REALLY don’t appreciate strangers gambling with my health. This was our go-to spot on the way home from beach trips, but we won’t be going here again...
Read moreRemember the taste of a Famous Star with cheese? The sauce dripping down your chin as took that first bite. The satisfaction of knowing that their slogan "if it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face" is so true. Ahhh the best fast food joint of the 90s. For the past 28 years I have been searching for a carls jr who could deliver that goodness again, but every one had failed. Even my old Carl's in watsonville wasn't delivering what I was craving. Then, one night we stopped in at this Carl's Jr. Just a short blip on the radar compared to where we were going. I got a Famous Star with cheese. That first bite, oh THE bite. I was taken back to baggy jeans and tight tops. The drip went down my chin and hit my chest. The food was hot and satisfying.
My husband said it was the cleanest and most well put together Carl's Jr he's ever been in. The guy helping him was fantastic. I think I am in love with this location. Now excuse me while I hop in a...
Read moreFor 3 months now I have been confronted with constant petty arguments. I simply want an Angus burger with cheese to go. Why is this so unique an experience for each of the employees? Edit: The incident last night was the last straw. Why rudely "correct" me on where to pick up my burger AFTER the fact? They've always handed it to me by the register or the side. I don't care where. Why not just put the burger over where it's supposed to be delivered? What is it with these ex-rehabers they hire here? You're yelling at me in front of customers to leave and calling the cops? How about I have you found in the parking lot...
