If I could give zero stars I would, as I begin to describe my experience with this restaurant, to begin with the employees of this place are inept at customer service, the food is crap and to finish the manager of this place is not trained to solve problems with customers it seems he takes the things that happen there very personally because if he doesn't like some criticism towards the service he gives he starts arguing with the customer and ends up denying service to the person in question the next time he returns, a little context I had already had an argument with the manager of this establishment for the poor service he had given me, early this Sunday morning I returned because it is the only place that is open 24 hours a day, I arrived between the bathroom and when I left I found the manager in front of me letting me know that he would not give me service, I did not allege absolutely anything I just told him that I was fine and I left the restaurant. Once outside I took my phone to check my notifications when the manager, already upset, took out his phone and started recording me and telling me that I would talk to the police, he began to provoke me so that I would react badly and have reasons to have me arrested but I did the same thing as him I began to record him believing that this way the situation would be controlled for all of this I had my truck parked at the restaurant and since I didn't want problems I left it parked there for a while, minutes passed I began to see how 4 patrol cars began to circle around the Dennys, immediately I knew that they were looking for me for this I was already next to a hotel that is near there but my truck was still parked at the Dennys, the police found my location and the policeman began to question me if I was drunk if I was driving my truck, I didn't answer the policeman at all I wanted to know what report the manager had filed against me had been, meanwhile the manager of that place called the tow truck to take my truck that had been parked there for at most 20 minutes, they told me that their policy was that they could call the tow truck if they suspected that someone The vehicle didn't belong to a Denny's customer, but I was going to eat. The manager started the whole problem, not me! I think the manager's goal was to get me arrested, but he didn't succeed because the police officer gave me a verbal warning and that was it. What he did achieve was to leave me without my...
Read moreWe just moved here and have been coming to Denny’s for breakfast/brunch until we could buy a refrigerator and food for our place. Overall, it’s okay. For some reason, every time I’m seated by the window, I sneeze. Oh and the tea was cloudy. Could’ve been the green plastic cup.
My ONLY real issue is with the wait staff that definitely needs to be retrained in offering better customer service. Y’all, everything is in the little things. Tabasco is the ONLY hot sauce put out like ketchup (I hate Tabasco) and never ONCE was I asked if there were any options of sauces or syrup. I needed-sugar free syrup, Tapatio or Cholula, Heinz or A1, flavored creamers, yellow sugar packets, or even extra napkins, etc. When I get seated, immediately I’m asked about drinks before I can get my coat off OR I don’t get asked at all because it’s busy and my busy waiter:waitress hasn’t acknowledged I’m alive. It is sad I had to ask the questions what should’ve come out of their mouthes. At least waited for me to be seated to point out any specials or types of drinks available. I’m not at your house. Just asking me what I want to drink is not a good opener. You didn’t even tell me your name! I had to ask if it’s Coke or Pepsi products. I had to ask for more creamer and wasn’t asked what flavor I preferred because obviously the husband and I drank up the flavored ones and left the half and half but you brought me more of the half and half. And each and every time my waiter/waitress did a “drive by” to drop stuff off and then just walked away before I had a chance to ask for something. I’ve worked in customer service for most of my life. If y’all just step it up and be more personable, you’d get a better tip. You’d get an even BIGGER tip if I’ve noticed it’s hella busy but yet you still speak to me and treat me as if I was a gold star customer. Oh and when serving children or elderly, get down to their level-physically. Like bend down and look them in the eye. But what do I know? I’m just an online...
Read moreBy far, the worst meal I have had anywhere. The only reason that I didn't give it a one-star is because I can't prove that it was blatantly served that way. I ordered the chicken fried steak dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy and seasonal fruit (red grapes, strawberries, and banana slices) and a tea. The steaks were fine as one would expect from something coming out of a deep fat frier. The mashed potatoes were cold and tasted strange. I can't describe the taste, but they were gross, and I wouldn't recommend them. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she kindly asked if I'd like to have something different. I asked if I might have the corn instead. When it arrived, I tried it, and the taste was overshadowed by the extreme temperature. So I decided that I would move on to the fruit, I dumped it out on the plate and picked through it, selecting the strawberries and banana slices. The strawberries were strongly hard, and the banana slices were exceptional. I hope that it wasn't intentionally done, but if it were, then they are very sad. I would like to recommend McDonald's, Starbucks, Carl's Jr., Tortilla Town, Nate's Hot Chicken, Rustic Fire,...
