Subway — Restaurant in Paso Robles

Ordered online. Said ready by 515, gave a little extra time and show at 525. Order not ready. Irritated on a scedule and wait. Makes salads in bowl and not salad container. Barely a pinch of lettuce, I say something about the salad and she shrugs it off with attitude. Steak and cheese melt sandwich was ice cold and not melted. Ridiculous amount of mayo on the tuna sandwich. 2nd salad had ZERO lettuce and dressing on, asked for on the side. No forks to even eat salad if there was any. Girl had attitude from the start. I asked who is supervisor, she replied "I don't know." I asked for managers name, she replied again "I don't know." She also kept picking up her phone like she was texting someone. My dining experience at Subway was generally satisfactory. In terms of taste, the sandwiches were okay but didn't stand out. I was slightly disappointed with the vegetable portions, as they were smaller than expected. I believe the sandwiches could have been elevated with a more generous serving of veggies.

On the positive side, the cleanliness of the restaurant was commendable. It's not just the dining area that was well-kept. Even the bathroom was spotless, which speaks volumes about their hygiene standards.

Subway restaurants are really falling far behind with the competition. The only reason why I would ever go back is if I tripped over a Subway restaurant and it was the only thing there period almost every other sandwich restaurant is better, and by far. The bread is better, the produce is better, the service is better. Seriously, if you're reading this go try a Jersey Mike's sandwich, or a sandwich from Beach Hut Deli. Even Mr. Pickles blows it away. Yes all the app for mentioned are more expensive, but so much better flavor for just a couple of bucks more.
