Hot Head Burritos — Restaurant in Pataskala

I have been ordering from this hot heads location for a bit now & pretty frequently. Normally our food is always really good but tonight they had completely messed up a couple items. I normally don't call if it's just 1 or 2 small things because that's bound to happen but since multiple items were completely wrong, and overall not good so it kinda is worth a call then. I tried them prior to calling, I was willing to give it a shot but it was just not edible. They handled it really well though and we very kind to me when I called. I spoke with a girl when I called, unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was very kind and issued a refund for the incorrect items. A little while later the GM, Tracey called me, initially I was confused but, he was really thorough in wanting to understand what was wrong, and said next time he'd make sure we got 2 free burritos which was cool because well, we order from them far more than we probably should 😂 So it was nice that they not only issued a refund but are going to comp our next two burritos. I also want to point out, when I say inedible I don't mean like it was rotten or anything. I've never had a issue with the food being fresh! This location is the best out of the few...

You may be asking yourself “why am I reading this Google review about Hot Heads”. The answer is because you’re already apprehensive about coming here because you know the food is not going to be good. No matter how much sauce you put on your food here, you’re left feeling disappointed. It’s not just this location, it’s all Hot Heads locations as a whole.

The food was so bland and dry, three of us decided to throw it away. This is not because of the staff members, this is because it’s just Hot Heads.

If you’re interested in wasting your money on terrible food, I fully recommend you come here. If you like to eat good food, you should consider one of the many other restaurants nearby and you’ll pay the same amount of money, but you’ll have a full stomach.

I’d love to be able to say I’ll try again in a few months and update my review, but that won’t be happening.

I’ve been a long time customer since they opened around 2010. I even remember when they opened I received a free burrito coupon from the pataskala street fair parade. Prices have probably doubled over the years (Inflation sucks!) but consistency and quality has not! This hothead is definitely the best I’ve been to in the Columbus or Toledo area as their quality is always very consistent and they give you a good portion of food for the price. Employees are always fast, friendly and provide great communication too which is a great plus! I wish all the hothead burritos were like this one! The franchisee owner (I believe his name is Tony) is also a nice gentleman. He owns the pataskala subway as well as many other subways and hotheads...
