came here a few days ago while visiting family in jersey. i was told to come grab some delicious bites by an iraqi friend of mine who dines here when visiting and he’s from upstate new york. i’ve been wanting to visit for so long but never got the opportunity to. finally i got the opportunity to go with two of my cousins one who is super open to trying new cuisine. i am middle eastern and never had iraqi food before so i was super excited! we started with the eggplant salad which was really good! we also loved the two different kinds of bread they offered and the mixed veggies they serve to have before the meal. i ordered the iraqi kebab which was delicious with rice, my one cousin got the ouzi which was delicious and tender and falling up the bone, the rice was fantastic.my other cousin got the tandoori chicken which was so good too! i mostly recommend all to dine here if they never been there and i surely would love to go back whenever i visit again and have a chance. the server was soo nice and sweet i adored her, i just didn’t like that it was so humid outside that the indoors was humid too. i was sweating very bad while dining so it made the experience annoying. i noticed they had an AC unit but you couldn’t feel it through the restaurant only when we stood up from our table is when you can. thankfully the delicious food distracted us a little...

My latest experience visiting Almazak was one of the worst ever which disappointed me as i shocked with the huge changes happened since my visits on 2020 Attitude of one of the sisters who manage the restaurant was very horrible as she was so arrogant and unpolite talking to customers just because we commented on her poor quality food and instead of apologizing to us she started to argue and anxious to us even using some unethical words towards us Then she purposely and as a revenge from us she charged us extra extra charges 18% service charge 2% card payment charges Food quality was very poor as it was COLD and SMELLY(not fresh) When i called next day to complain to her brother (the manager) at first he was so arrogant and so angry to me and hanged up the phone while i was talking The ONLY person was so much KIND AND PROFESSIONAL as well as SO MUCH POLITE was the other sister who look so good and friendly with great PR

this time i score Almazak...

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. I was very impressed with the food and staff. The tea comes on a beautiful, authentic, handmade spread. The breakfast here is wonderful and comes in generous portions. They clearly put a lot of time into their soup and broth (which comes in a beautiful bowl). The bread here is divine and always fresh. The lamb chops are perfectly cooked and the salad is fresh. The kababs we're juicy and we'll spiced. The staff is super nice and welcoming. They will make you feel right at home. They also give you all the time you want to eat, drink tea, talk and relax. The ambiance is very relaxing, we spend at least an hour here at a time but if you wanted a quick meal you can do that too. There is a reason we come back here again and bring...
