MAIKKI — Restaurant in Paterson

I was told by an employee earlier this week that my card came with a $10 credit I could use online and/or in person on Friday. That’s the only reason I came back today.

I walked in, said hello, and got… blank stares. No greeting, no welcome — I had to say hello TWICE just to get acknowledged. When I explained what their staff told me, they acted like I was making it up, girls behind the counter giggled, another went to the bathroom and acted like it wasnt her business and refused to honor it. I even said they could check the footage of the girl previously explaining this to me earlier in the week to confirm I wasn’t lying.

If you care about your business and your customers, you honor what your employees say. Instead, this felt like a bait-and-switch and being treated like I’m trying to scam a free lunch. This is a GREAT food place. But they always get my order wrong. I don’t know how. I order it online and specifically select everything I want off. 9 times out of ten, there’s something on my food that asked to be taken off. Food that I did receive was good but didn't match item descriptions and there was a lot missing. I ordered extra avocado and got none, I order extra chicken and going by the amount I got, it's no where near worth the price. Also ordered a fruit cup which according to the description had several different kinds of fruit. The one i recieved had 2 or 3 kinds of fruit and was only half full.
