McDonald's — Restaurant in Paterson

I asked for a happy meal, they said no fries available, I asked for a smoothie, they said no smoothie, I asked for a big mac, they finally said it was available, then they said oh sorry no big macs, to then tell me oh wait there is big macs so I had to settle for that. When I got to the window I asked for sweet & sour sauce, & guess what, no sweet & sour lol, I then asked for big mac sauce & the guy had the audacity to say I had to pay for it after they didn’t have anything I wanted. I asked to speak to a manager, I explained to the manager that nothing I wanted was available & that the least they could do was give me a sauce, he said that I have to pay for it, I said you want me to swipe my card again for 50 cents, he said its $1.50 & must be in cash, like that was a huge difference. I was beyond nice, & even still I couldn’t get a big mac sauce. I said thank you & just drove off. I’ve never felt the need to leave a bad review for a McDonalds until now. Worst customer service ever. The 3am manager needs to be trained better, if not he needs...

Hey you guys should remove the hoilday pie on McDonald's grubhub cause I know the hoildays are over now, and you guys should have a new pie only for Valentines Day it will be call Cherry pie only for limit time and you guys should have less handicap parking lot and just put regulation parking lot and also for the grubhub delivery only and you guys should work from 6am to 11pm not 247 cause that it's very dangerous for you guys at late night and if there is bums around the restaurant the workers should give them free meals instead of the begging to the customers that are going to order there meal in the drive thru and you guys should change that it should be less cars on Thursday and Friday and Saturday night and the manager should be there on Friday night the workers should not give free meals to the ones already order there food that should change and this restaurant should have better and older workers that are professional ones for this restaurant and better mangers that could make this restaurant better...

It's rare for this spot to get any part of the quick service experience right. I always ask for no pickle no ketchup on my burgers but instead I get no pickle no onions. I request a seltzer water and I get tap water or sprite. The fries are usually luke warm at best. 90% of the servers don't smile or say thank you. Quick service here is as much an oddity as a white person in Paterson after midnight, doing something good. The management is complacent and rarely do you witness them taking actions to improve their establishment. I can only assume that this place survives because of the ideal and convenient location. Furthermore, it possibly keeps its doors open because the surrounding community (myself included) likes the inexpensive, artery clogging food. It's a shame that places in Paterson like the aforementioned, feel that less than mediocre service is good enough. I digress and drive to the White Castle all the way on the other side of Paterson....
