I’m on the hunt to find the best taco spots in NJ! Paterson I known for having some good taco spots! 📍Taqueria Brenda Lee has a couple of taco spots but I’ve been told the Paterson & Passaic ones are the best! I loved the carnitas here and would 100% come back just for an order of those. Suadero is my favorite cut of meat of all time and did not love it here. Didn’t taste to traditional suadero but that is ok! Cecina was good but also not what I’m used to and al pastor good but was missing the pineapple! Overall I would say this spot is definitely worth trying for their carnitas but that is it for me! +++ Hi! If you’re new here, I am Jaylynn, I post content mainly on food and activities! I am based in the NYC and NJ area. I love traveling, eating out, and just exploring! I had high hopes based on the other Google reviews. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Only tacos to order, no beans or rice. I ordered chicken, al pastor and oreja. They come in 4 tacos each. With 2 bottled drinks, came out to $48 each (when did tacos become so expensive?) or $53.xx if paying with card which I think is ridiculous. There’s no receipt so I have no idea how much individually. On to the tacos, they didn’t come with double tortillas like I’m used to. Thankfully, they were not too soggy so did not completely fall apart. The flavors of the meat were good, the sauces (green and red) were decent. Green sauce was chunky which I’m not used to either. A few wedges of lime came with the order. I won’t be returning. Will be going to my usual spot in Passaic. Im shooting myself in the foot for not going there.

Living in Paterson all my life, I’m surrounded by many taqueria choices all around. This place is a gem in a pile of stones. By far my favorite - the food is delicious, the tacos are meaty, and the staff is extremely friendly which is a plus in my book- you almost instantly feel like family walking in. Tortillas are always fresh. I’m usually very picky with tortillas, but never have a problem here. My favorite is the bistec, and al pastor tacos, but I’ve tried just about all and they’ve never failed to satisfy my cravings. The red & green hot sauce are both delicious in their own ways - taste as you go, as it can get really spicy really fast. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.

Wow.....this place really took me by surprise. I'm from Paterson, NJ and always passed by this spot and didn't think anything of it. I recently came back from a trip to Mexico and was really craving some tacos(I was having taco withdrawals haha) and so I googled tacos and this was the first spot that came up. I was a bit weary about ordering here but I really wanted some tacos so I thought heck, why not try it. This place had so many good reviews so I decided to go with it and man! I am SO HAPPY I did. These tacos were by far the best tacos I've had. Seriously the closest you can get to finding a real authentic taco. I will for sure be back here! And don't be fooled by the tiny appearance inside, the food is freaking good! Great job! I ordered the Pastor and steak tacos. Oh and I'm guessing the person I spoke to getting my order was the owner, who was extremely nice, which made my whole experience even...
