SKIP THIS LOCATION! Should have read some of the recent reviews about how behind this Panera location is with their orders regardless of whether it’s Dine in or Take out. I placed my large Rapid Pick Up order at 4:38am on Sat 5/10 for a 1pm pickup on Sun 5/11. When I arrived a little before 1pm, the shelves for pick up orders were empty and people were in line telling me that they had been waiting an hour and a half for their orders! And people weren’t allowed to cancel their orders and get a refund. There should have been a note at the kiosks OR an employee alerting customers that they were 90 minutes behind on orders. Not one employee even announced, informed or apologized to those waiting around about the wait. I thought the delay in orders was because it was graduation weekend plus Mother’s Day, but according to these other reviews, this store experiences delays with orders constantly. It hasn’t occurred to management to increase the number of employees or find more capable store managers to handle the volume that this store seems to get. Have never had an issue with other Paneras so I’m surprised that this location has gotten away with such poor customer service.
They had three pages of people (on the electronic screen by the pick up area) waiting for their orders when I arrived on time to grab my order. My pick up time was 1pm and I walked out the door with my order at 2:30pm. I had a table reserved for lunch from 1:30pm-3pm with my family that was 15 minutes away and we were lucky that the venue let us stay longer than our reservation time. I must mention that our Panera sandwiches and salads were delicious so it wasn’t a total letdown.
I also did get an email at 1:03pm saying that my order was running behind and they had given me a reward in my account. ($2 off my next order)
The tagline for Rapid Pick Up is “order in the app, skip the line” so someone needs to change that or fix the issues with...
Read moreThere isn't really anything negative I can say about my visit to Panera. The cashier was very knowledgeable and polite. I took my cup to the soda dispenser, and was happy to see the variety. It's Pepsi products, Iced coffee, hot coffee and hot teas are also available. I recommend the fresh lemonade and green tea. I got my drink and beforehand I learned u take this tracking device with you after ordering and whatever table you sit at, the servers are able to locate you, and they'll bring your order to you. I think that's a great system. My food was brought to me in under 10mins from the time I placed the order which to me was super fast seeing how the place was extremely busy! I overheard a woman complain that she'd been waiting almost 20mins for her order and I was a bit unnerved by her complaint for the simple fact that it was one of the busiest Paneras I've ever been in and I'm talking about almost every booth, stool and table was occupied and roughly 20 customers in the kiosk/register area and more people walking in!!! I now have the utmost respect for the ones making the sandwiches, soups, salads, special barista drinks, the people bagging up the ToGo and Rapid Pick ups, and the friendly waiter/waitress running around delivering the orders!!! Thanks for great experience, and last but definitely not the least, the Lemonade, Bacon Turkey Bravo, Mac & Cheese, & Chicken Cesar salad were to die for!! First bad experience I had was when I wanted to order in person and not at the kiosk to avoid a previous issue I had when ordering from the kiosk before (I would order a coffee with cream and sweet n' low, not get the sweet n' low and have to ask a employee at the register for a packet anyways). The employee would not take my order at the register and insisted that I use the kiosk (and thus the same issue I had before happened again). The second bad experience I had was when I did a curb side pick up of a coffee and was brought out a cup with nothing but creamer in it. Another bad experience I just recently had was with multiple delivery orders. On one occasion I was given an empty coffee cup. Then most recent delivery I did had multiple missing items. I would also caution if you had the unlimited sip cup, as I love the hazelnut coffee included in the subscription but half the time I order it it’s out of stock.
