Tom Tudek Memorial Park — Attraction in Ferguson Township

As parks go this one is pretty good. There's not a whole lot here but it's a nice park to walk around and much of the path is shared use so you can cycle around it if you prefer. Some good views over the rolling hills nearby, plenty of benches to sit and relax, and a generally nice place to be.

Tuesday afternoons are a good time to avoid, there's some kind of local sporting activity (maybe a school group) and it can be nigh on impossible to find a place to park.

There is a bathroom here but sadly it was closed for the season the other day. I'm really not sure why a bathroom needs to be closed for the season, but there you go. If you're likely to need a comfort break after your walk you may want to...

Last Saturday, I stumbled upon a hidden gem called Tom Tudek Memorial Park while in State College, PA. I was searching for a quiet spot to unwind, and boy, did I find it! The paved trails were an invitation for a leisurely stroll, lined with delicate butterfly gardens in full bloom—a sight to behold in both spring and fall. The slight hills added just the right amount of charm, making the walk enjoyable without being exhausting.

I love this park. It is so peaceful... however it is not wheelchair accessible throughout. note: in the description is say the “entrance and parking is accessible”. That’s great but once you get in and park... that is all the accessibility you get.

There are a lot of large rocks and it makes enjoying the full park very difficult. There were horses out one day but the path to see the horses was made of large rocks. Terrible.
