Food is average at best. Counter staff has no sense of urgency no matter how many ppl are waiting. They'll ask you 2 or 3 times about your sandwich bc they're too busy talking to co-workers to hear you the 1st time. Then when you do correct them after they've asked you 2 or 3 times about your toasted, 2 ingredient sandwich, they glare at you with utter contempt. They are visually appalled when you opt not to tip. After all, isn't it mandatory we tip no matter how horrible the service is and the fact that we order and receive our food standing? I recently ordered a sandwich (I know, why go back and punish myself?) toasted with 2 ingredients. She repeated it twice while walking away and then when I got back from the cooler, she was wrapping it to put in the bag so I asked again, "that's toasted, right". YES, she replies with that look of contempt. The woman next to me rolled her eyes relaying her understanding of the absolute horrible service. I know, you say, why go back? I assure you my visits to Bagel World are so rare that I think I forget the pain of the last visit. Lack of urgency no matter how many ppl waiting. Contempt for the customers. Disrespectful to the customers time (lunch, before work, etc). Expect tipping despite the subpar service and poor attitudes. They don't even pretend. Last visit there was 6 ppl in line waiting and 2 of the 3 staff were cleaning. One was cleaning the cutting board along the cooler of sandwich options. One was cleaning the droppings from the bagels on the shelf under the baskets of bagels and the third was filling the orders from 1st of the 6 standing in line. The woman in front of me asked one of the others if she was going to help make the sandwiches and with that look of contempt said no, we I have to clean so I can get out of here on time. ...

Would give a ZERO if I could.

Ordered 2 bags on line, they said it would be ready in 30 minutes, so I arrived 30 later. Waited 10 minutes, and saw 25+ people come in and got their order left. I asked about my order and they said it would be coming out shortly. 5 minutes later my order was ready, so 45 minutes after I placed my order. If you take online orders, then you maybe should take care of those orders first. Very poorly managed and organized. If you are running behind on fulfilling those orders, maybe have 1 or 2 people taking care of the walk ins and have them help get the online orders taken care of. I asked who the manager was and they said there wasn't one there, so the woman I talked to and I asked how they would compensate me for my time, a simple coffee or 2 plain bags, which cost pennies on the dollar would have been a nice gesture, but was pretty much told my time and business wasn't worth anything too them.

They also got the order wrong, was going to bring it back but by the time I got back and found out my fiancee was to hungry and just ate her wrong.

The nova lox, you can't add the toppings that they described it as, so on the special instructions, we wrote that we wanted it as in the description. I've added pictures to show.

As a business owner, in would never not have a manager on duty and would never treat a customer so poorly or have something online that you can't...

Best bagels I've found in the Boston area. Better than most I've found in Brooklyn. This is one of four locations.

Egg on a bagel is one of the best breakfast values around. The Turkey Sandwich Special is brilliant! If you get lox on a bagel, try it with capers (between the lox & cream cheese, please, so they don't roll out all over the place) & a slice of Bermuda onion. Tomato optional for extra delicious messiness.

French toast bagels are a sweet treat. Bacon & egg on a toasted French Toast feels like it shd come w can of heart start it's so rich & yummy, but it's fine if you don't make a daily habit of it.

Rye bagels have carroway seeds, which are becoming hard to come by in the rye baked-goods world. Tasty! Speaking of seeds, the sesame & poppy are properly well covered.

Lots more. Explore the bagel selection & enjoy the menu. Lots of customizations available...

I come here frequently and whenever I order an iced coffee online instead of in the store they ALWAYS forget the cream. I get sugar or caramel and most of the time they'll tell me the sugar/caramel at the bottom of the cup is the cream BUT cream readily mixes into the drink unlike caramel or sugar so it wouldn't collect at the bottom of the cup like that. And yet, when I order it in store it never looks like that. I'm only giving 1 star hoping someone looks at this bc they don't take me seriously in store. Just admit you forgot the cream and do better. Especially if you charge a convenience fee for online orders. The least you can do is get it right so I can grab and go instead of waiting around for someone to fix it when it's busy. Also, consider offering a liquid sugar for the iced coffee. I've stopped ordering sugar because it doesn't mix in.

Variety if unique bagles available. Rainbow, marble, spinach, french toast, pizza, wildberry, raisin, etc. I’m a sucker for rare editions/versions, so this place was a hit. Always busy and busting with people, but the lines goes down real quick bc the staff are very fast. Thanks for bearing with my picky and long list of orders. Also the cream cheese variety was also interesting. The Lox was good, everything bagel breakfast sandwich was good too. But they said the whole wheat bagel was out when we ordered, but it came back in 5min after when we were purchasing. Could’ve checked for us :/

A gem for sure! If you haven't experienced a bagel Love yet, then it's a must go to! We usually make a sandwich, my favorite is everything bagel with turkey, Swiss, tomato pesto, tomato, lettuce, bean sprouts and a lil bacon! Second is French toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese! Your heart will melt on these two, mine sure did. Service is great & since they redid the entrance, the wait isn't to bad. Worth it, even with the wait. You can park & get out to speed it up if there is a line outside, the wait isn't horrible inside and they're always friendly and helpful.
