Last evening, my son and I had a wonderful dinner at Century House Restaurant. It was a celebration of my pending birthday, and it was wonderful! We enjoyed prime rib, cooked to perfection, and we enjoyed dessert, which was yummy! The staff was awesome, especially the young man who waited on us. They all sang happy birthday to me, and they were adorable! Century House Restaurant, never disappoints! Highly recommended by me! This was my first time dining at Century House. I was accompanied by a friend who has been a loyal guest for many years—and now I see why! From the moment we walked in I was comfortable. We were greeted by the manager with a warm smile and promptly seated. The atmosphere felt like stepping into a big family gathering—so welcoming, lively, and family-friendly. People of all ages were dining, and the overall vibe was joyful.

Our server, Susan, was truly exceptional. She was kind, friendly, and took time to answer all my questions since it was my first visit. She even recommended a few menu favorites, which I really appreciated. Despite how busy she was, Susan never made us feel rushed and checked in often with genuine warmth. I really want to make sure she gets the recognition she deserves—her service made the experience that much better.

I ordered the prime rib and it was absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The broccoli was fresh and cooked just right, and the specialty potatoes were rich and delicious. I haven’t seen such fair pricing for quality food in a restaurant in a long time.

The entire restaurant, including the pub area, was spotless, updated, and thoughtfully designed—especially impressive for a place with such a long history of success. You can tell they really care about keeping the place inviting and comfortable.

We came here for lunch to celebrate a very special birthday and were extremely disappointed by the manager, Allison's, mishandling of a situation. My father in law had ordered a prime rib cooked medium rare as he has done many times before as a faithful returning customer of 30 years. When the prime rib came out to the table it was not medium rare but medium to medium well. When this was brought to the servers attention she handled it appropriately and went to the chef and management. We were told by management that we were not able to get it cooked differently because they refused to cut into a different roast. If we were told that we could not get the roast cooked medium rare from the beginning when the kitchen would have received that order and then knowing they were not able to meet their customers request, they should have informed us and we would have gotten a different meal. My father in law ended up eating only the small amount of shrimp that came with the order and ended up leaving hungry. The manger proceeded to tell him that she will not be charging him for the roast, well Id sure hope not! When leaving he mentioned to Allison the manager, that he has been a 30 year customer of this establishment and her only response to this longtime customer was "you came at the wrong time".
