I dont know why I continue to disappoint myself by returning to this location out of the 5 times I have been. I have had one good experience hense the one star. Almost everytime I go in, they are not busy and yet it takes the staff a while to notice I'm there. Once they do, they take my order with a smile but dont take any care whatsoever in actually making the product. It seems they have no concept of portioning as every time I go in I get more or less of different portions of my burrito although its usually a half scoop of rice and an over abundance of queso and salsa making the burrito very soggy and hard to eat without making a huge mess. This last time going in was the first since the covid pandemic and the only precautions they seem to be taking is closing every other table. no markings on ground for people who clearly dont know what 6 feet is, no changing gloves after orders and the cashier had taken either cash or a card from every person in line with no gloves while digging around a big aluminum pan filled with silverware without washing hands or wearing gloves. just having no regard how dangerous times are at the moment could be infecting anyone that dines here. Read moreSo I decided to try Qdoba for the first time because my sons' wanted burritos and this restaurant was the closest. We got in and the place was not busy at all. So I took a minute to read the menu options and then went to order. So I asked if they do medium burritos. The answer was No. I asked if they have a smaller size tortilla and the answer was No. Then I asked if they could split the burrito in half. The answer to that was No. Then they pointed to the small selection of kid friendly menu options. I reluctantly ordered a chicken and steak burrito and some drinks. I was able to split the chicken burrito for my kids with ease. And we enjoyed the burritos. The reason for my 2 stars is for the "No" answers that I received from the employees without them offering an alternative. What kind of training did these employees receive? I am paying for the service and I don't think I was asking for too much. How rigid can these employees be? It's not that hard to think outside the box and offer good service. Read moreThey were only accepting cash today on 9/28/2024 as there was a problem with the credit card machine and Apple Pay. The manager Corina knew my friend and I were regular customers who often come in and invited us to stay, and not to worry about it once we saw the cash only signs at the register and realized we didn’t have cash on us as we were getting ready to leave. We are very pleased and grateful for her hospitality and our wonderful experience. Instead of having us load up the wheelchair and leave she offered for us to stay and have lunch. This location is always clean and the staff are always changing gloves and washing hands in between customers. It’s nice to see people care about sanitation and cleanliness.
