Dined here with my family for Cinco de Mayo. First time. The atmosphere was very chaotic, but we understood it would be a day with high traffic. The inside sounded like a loud cafeteria. Totally different than any other experience we've had at a Mexican restaurant. My son is great at eating out. He is a toddler who sits and eats patiently. He is autistic and given the environment, his sensory was in high gear to the loud noises and lots of people moving and bumping into one another. Multiple dishes broke. I thought it would be a good idea to stop eating and take him outside where it was much quieter and let him watch the band set up. He really enjoyed that, but I needed to get back to his food. As soon as I took him back inside, he held his ears which made me realize I needed to go back out asap. I figured I could grab my plate and my sons and stand up while eating and watch the band set up. I asked my husband to bring our drinks out because my hands were full then go back inside to pay. That's what we started to do. On the way out, our server started scolding us thinking we were dining and dashing. Without hesitation and before I responded to our server, another server who had no idea what was going on, jumped in and started saying "you need to tell them hostess what you're doing". I kept saying back "we aren't doing anything. We aren't leaving. My husband is coming back in. He is carrying drinks to us bc my hands are full". This server continued to argue back with me saying what we were doing was wrong and need to tell the hostess because they need to know to give our table away". I screamed back and said "that's what I'm trying to tell you. My husband is coming back inside in less than 30 seconds. I'm just trying to feed my son. My husband is coming back to sit down and pay". All of that arguing for him to say "oh gotcha. I didnt know he was coming back inside". I said we were 3x. BOTH continued to ignore me while one kept getting closer to my face. After feeling attacked by both servers, I immidietely felt sick and didn't finish my food. My son never finished his food. We didn't finish our drinks. We left. On our way out, someone unknown from Kiko came to apologize and asked what happened. When I told her, she laughed and said I have 4 kids. I get it. Sometimes when you need to move, you just need to move. I'm sorry that happened". She offered us more drinks. We politely declined and went on. Overall, the server staff handled it poorly. Instead of assuming a family is dining and dashing.... just ask. Asking clears it all up. Just ask "hi. Are you leaving? If so, can you pay before you both walk out". It didn't need to take two servers standing in my face yelling while holding my sons hand. It was so intense for the situation that was actually occuring. In my head, im trying to feed myself and my son away from the noise bc of his sensory issues. In their head, we are breaking the law and running out carrying two heavy plates and silverware???. I dont know how this escalated quickly, but it was not good. We won't come back. For the food or experience. Sadly, we wanted to try a mexican food spot other than LA Parilla with family (theyre always famiky friendly and friendly staff), but what...

We decided to go to this restaurant as we wanted to eat traditional Mexican cuisine and we read for this place in Atlanta Magazine (a kind of guide magazine published every week for Atlanta city).
It is located in Norcross city opposite to Marathon gas station. It's very easy to find it, and medium - easy to park your car. We parked our cars alone and I don't know if this service is free or you have to pay extra.
We reached the place at about 13:00 and the place was full to the half of it...strange and unusual thing for a sunny Sunday noon in our country. When you get in, there's a man (the boss I think) who helps you find your reserved table and a woman holding a "PR" position. He was not friendly at all and as about her, she had an unpleasant looking on everyone all the time.
The place has bright colours minimal design and it looks clean and tidy. I wouldn't say it is kid-friendly. Even if we don't have kids I should mention this. Despite the fact that has very big room, it is fulfilled of tables and there's no area for kids. The first thing that you will notice, which made us disappointed, was the very loud music, so loud we couldn't intimate conversation. Nevertheless the songs, the DJ played (new kind of Mexican pop) had nothing to do with this kind of place.
The menu has no certain speciality, four kinds of salad similar the one to each other with no main difference. They serve appetizers (cold & hot dishes) like french fries, potato-salad,and typical main dishes you will find in every mexican tavern like beefs and t-bone stakes. They also have deserts but we didn't even ordered and I can't say anything on this. You can choose on drinking wine, ouzo, beer or sodas. The worst part is they are even charging money for starter tortilla chips and salsa.
The order for 5 persons was: 5 chicken quesadillas(got just a chicken with cheese in a tortilla), 3 plates of chicken wings, 8 beer, 4 burrito, 7 vegetable tacos.
The service was absolutely disappointing. The waiters had extremely good mood…so good that they were dancing, they were yelling each other and they generally made fuss annoying us. In addition they could hardly notice us when we wanted something (water, more beer, the bill etc.).
We spend 220$ dollars (a little more than 40$ per person!) but the price is not comparable to the food and service - too much money. In conclusion the whole experience was not good, I would never go again to this place for any reason and I don't recommend this restaurant, not even to my worst enemy.
In a few words...you should better try Arby's which is near...
Read moreAt first, our visit was great and the service was great. As more and more regulars started to come in our service declined. It got to the point where we were waiting for our check for 30 minutes all the while trying to flag any staff member down only to be looked at and ignored several times. I brought up my grievance to the manager who started to walk away as I expressed a concern on the bill as well the service we’re receiving. As she rudely walked away while I was talking to her, she began to speak about my table in Spanish (right in front of us). She wasn’t aware that Spanish is my native language. This display of disrespect was the last straw and I was sure to let the manager know I understood what she was saying by repeating what she had said in Spanish. I let her know that talking about paying customers in front of them is extremely rude and that I will not be coming back to this joke of an establishment (all in Spanish). She tried to “calm me down” by putting her hand on my shoulder. I let her know not to touch me and I am disgusted by the way she thought it was okay to touch me after what she had did. For some odd reason, a man at the table behind me decided he had a problem with me for defending myself in Spanish. He became irate and I turned around and let him know if he had any grievances with me he could bring them up to my face and not to the back of my head. This older white man thought he had some power over me and tried to act like my dad by telling him not to talk to him like that to which I replied “I don’t give a f**” and he immediately got out of his seat, and invaded my personal space and yelling at me while I was seated. I WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED how this individual was allowed to stay in the restaurant after his belligerence. This establishment is a joke, management were cowards and had no clue how to handle this situation. Not only was my safety compromised by another customer but management was implicit in not holding him accountable ON TOP OF management bad mouthing my table in a language they had no clue we spoke. The food was decent but definitely not worth supporting such a frugal, nonsensical, and negligent management team. It was a shame to pay them because I felt as though they did not deserve one penny for their horrendous negligence and...
