Pêche Modern Coastal — Restaurant in Peachtree Corners

I wanted to have a belated mother's day meal with my daughters and found this place on Google and Yelp. I trusted the high ratings and didn't think to read through every review before going. My reservation was at 7:30 and we arrived 15 minutes early and sat right away. The dining hall was empty except for a large party of 10+ ppl but the hostess sat the three of us in a small corner table. We waited until 7:35 before a server came and served us water and provided the menu. We had plenty of time to study the menu so I ordered three appetizers and a glass of Chardonnay. It took another 15 minutes for us to get the three appetizers and I had to ask for the wine. It must have sat at the bar because my white wine was not chilled. The Peche oysters were supposed to have caviar on top but such tiny amount was placed on top that I could almost count them. The oysters were also not cold; very briney and I tasted almost none of the citrus ponzu sauce or the chili sauce. The burrata peach salad had such few peach pickles that we were done with the peaches half way through eating the burrata, which was not that big to begin with. We decided not to order the rest of our meal and proceeded to ask for a check. Again our server was nowhere to be found and I finally had to flag down the hostess. I asked for the check and the server apologized and informed the manager, at which point he came and tried to make amends. What makes me even angrier is that the manager covered the cost of half of our meal without asking. I have money to pay for my meals. What I wanted was good food and good service, not a mediocre meal that left a bad taste in my mouth, literally and figuratively. I went on a Wed eveving at 7:30 with reservations but the service felt like we were in a busy restaurant on a holiday weekend. Neither the server nor the second server nor the manager paid any attention to fill in the gap in service. I will never go there again. If I go to fine dining - I assume it's fine dining since the average prcie of the plates are $$$ - I expect to feel at least like I'm receiving some service. BTW, we were the only three Asians in the restaurant and makes me wonder if the service is related to...

My wife and I had an opportunity to visit peche restaurant in Peachtree corners in the forum for the very first time. Every Saturday we go out to eat normally, we are frequenting places like Houston's and the Chop House. Well, this place is right in our backyard, and I have to tell you it is Atlanta's best kept secret. It is located in the forum today, my wife and I decided to go out and eat dinner and we passed this restaurant and decided to go for the very first time. Of course, there are several things that we look for when visiting a restaurant for the first time. Number 1 we are looking to be greeted properly, professionally and friendly. Number 2. we want to make sure that the waiters or waitresses are very engaging and the managers as well. Number 3, we look for cleanliness of the facility and number 4, the taste of their food as well as , its preparation along with the presentation. I'll be honest I have to tell you this place checked off everything on our list. This will definitely be from here going forward one of our go to restaurants. They have a very, very nice menu as well. I had the salmon with lump, crab meat, shrimp, creamed spinach and creamed mashed potatoes. My wife did a green salad, where they make their own dressing and it was filled with shrimp lump crab meat tomatoes, cucumbers, absolutely amazing! Then we topped it off with key lime Pie, this is a must go too restaurant. By the way, we had an opportunity to meet 2 amazing people on tonight. The weekend manager Jacob and the bartender Josh, who were both amazing human beings. My recent visit to Peche Modern Coastal Restaurant at the Forum at Peachtree Corners was nothing short of a culinary delight, enveloped in a nice and dimmed romantic setting. Choosing to sit at the bar proved to be a wise decision as it provided an intimate atmosphere and an opportunity to indulge in their impressive drink selection.
