Curbside Pick Up - Beyond Disappointing

Had the most beyond disappointing experience with Talbots at the Forum and their curbside pick up. Arrived 12 minutes before curbside ended - did not realize this until I parked and pulled up the email to follow directions. When I spoke with a Nell on the phone I apologized for coming so close to the cut off. Unfortunately, Nell does not know how to work her phone and failed to place me hold. What followed was just plain cruel and unprofessional. Nell advised someone in the store that I was not going to get my pick up in 12 minutes and that it was too bad I was in a hurry and that I would just have to wait. This was followed by what can only be described as a cackle. After going into the store and advising Nell that she should place customers on hold BEFORE trashing them, I received a lukewarm apology from Nell and a poor explanation from the MOD - that I had taken the comments the wrong way. The MOD finally admitted that she heard none of the conversation. I asked for a call back from the regional manager (the MOD presented herself as the store manager). Two weeks later, no call. I went in today to return the item (no longer had any enthusiasm for the item) and I was told that the manager was given my contact information but never called. Once I spoke with Angela (the store manager) she advised that she received a post it with a name, number, and story she did not understand. She lost the post it and made no effort to contact me, find out what happened, find out who I was (FYI, I was the lady who did a curbside pick up 12 minutes before curbside pick up ended). I asked for the regional manager and Angela put me on hold for 20 minutes telling me that she had to find the contact information for the new acting regional manager - what Angela really did was she called the regional manager and pleaded her case which amounted to a lost post it and no attempt at follow up. The regional manager was equally unsympathetic despite each person admitting what they had done (cruel comment, no attempt at a follow up; lying about trying about trying to find the contact information). I would avoid this location unless you want the same treatment. I am willing to bet that this type of comment is not a one time occurrence and the lack of follow up happens...
