This is really an incredible place for kids and adults. As for the play areas, parts of the spaceship area are more suitable for toddlers, and the rest of it and the other play structures are better for kids ages 5 to 12. The bathrooms are open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and boy are they freezing cold in the summer! They are very spacious, so it's a very good place to go cool down if you or your little ones get overheated. The only bad thing is that they are pretty far from the larger play structures (by the yogurt and poké bowl restaurants). They were very clean when we visited. They did have working water fountains by the bathrooms and close to the very large, shaded, blue play structure with the black netting that is nearest the path that goes to the dog park. The water fountains are made for dogs as well. That blue play structure also has a wheelchair accessible swing-type play feature by it that you can see in my photo. There are a lot of shaded areas, including on the play structures, with tons of seating for parents. That being said, it gets very hot here in the summer. The splash pad is pretty small, but another good thing to take advantage of in the heat. It runs from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The grass area is enormous and is another fun feature. There is a concrete path around the entire space, good for walking for exercise. There are rules about which kind of wheeled machines you can use, no bicycles with tires over 12", no skateboards, nothing electric. The movie theater is right beside this area, and lots of restaurants within very close walking distance. There is a very large Ninja-warrior style exercise area that is walled off from the play areas called Fort Pain. No one under 18 is allowed in, and there are other restrictions for safety. It is very well-shaded by trees throughout, with lots of benches as well. There is a veterans monument positioned between green's play areas on the outer edge of the walking path. Parking is plentiful. This is a fantastic place to plan a day out. Note that it is a tobacco-free, vape-free area. If you found this review helpful, please give it a...
Read moreWe went here to see a friend perform. For the most part the area was nice- however, I feel that the architects did not consider many accessibility issues. There are limited ways to get onto the patio area if you are in a wheelchair. Be prepared to search around only to find most of the entrances have steps. Several of the areas could have easily been graded to increase accessibility. For those who can walk with assistance, you should know that most of the stairs do not have handrails of any kind. There were few handicap spots to park. This was an event, so it was extremely busy and that is understandable. Still, it is unfortunate if you end up ony being able to park on the bottom level of the deck and have to roll yourself up the very large hill in order to access the town green (or any of the rest of the area). If there was an elevator, signage was not provided or sufficient.
The area is very nice for those who have no...
Read moreThis playground don't play around. It's got so much to do and some of its structures could hurt if you fell off. It's AWESOME. The space ship area is a lot safer for smaller kids and they have a small splash pad. Older kids will appreciate the challenge. There's also a wooden area called Fort Pain. It's 18+. They have obstacles that you'd find on Ninja Warrior. Little kids aren't allowed, even if they are just watching. I got escorted out by security as my 7 year old watches me go up the...
