Tony's Fish House — Restaurant in Pearl

Would be zero or negative stars if it allowed me to give it less!! This restaurant has good food but is extremely dirty on the inside, which kills your appetite. The ac vent is visible to customers and is disgusting. There are dirty house shoes and should laying directly behind cashiers around ridiculously cluttered shelves. The cashier's wear bonnets to work and also bring their children to the job with them, which they keep at register instead of making them sit their butts at a table. It is VERY unprofessionally ran and I have previously mentioned this to Tony before. I had stopped picking up food here altogether before. It is crazy that you almost slip on greasy floor when entering from poor ventilation. The curtains between cashier and kitchen are filthy and need to be thrown in the trash. Tony is a great guy, but this is so unacceptable and is going to eventually kill business. Radio so loud cashier ant hear you when you tell her what order you're picking up. First time visiting this business and can confirm I will never return. There was rap music blasting for several minutes after entering. The black lady behind the counter does not understand what customer service is. My husband and I were the only two customers inside of the restaurant. She answers the phone while we were in the middle of placing our order. We weren’t even asked to wait or receive an apology for the interruption. Before paying, she stated that there was no price difference between cash or card. That was apparently a lie because I noticed the sign after grabbing our waters that said a 4% charge will be added for card payments. After seating, a young white lady walks from the counter to the lobby with both hands on her head and just stands there before turning around. At this point, they realized the rap music was not professional and changed the station. This business should consider moving to Hinds county where customer service standards are...

I visited Pearl MS a few days ago and wanted to try some of yalls famous catfish I've heard so much about. So, I Googled local fish joints in the area, and Tony's was highly recommended. I got the two piece pantrout and two piece catfish, and 8 piece wings. Let me tell you, the plate was more than enough for two people to share and the fish was EXCELLENT! It was so good that I had forgotten about the wings that I had left at the restaurant. Well, long story short, I called a couple days later to inform them that I had forgotten about the wings. They remembered me and had no problem replacing my wings days after my order. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants some great home cooking and great employees.
